Tons of water snakes and snapping turtles there. I also found a ringneck snake once but sadly haven’t seen another since 2017

I have been to vally falls before but one time I saw a snake so I ran or my life and never went into vally parks woods again

I saw snakes as well in other places during while hiking. Unfortunately, they live in woods, it is their home. I just walked around them keeping safe distance and everything was OK. They won't attack if not provoked. Also , it is good idea to pay attention surroundings, especially while being in woods. Just keep safe distance and everything will be ok.

@@MICROPROG I catch snakes there all the time! They’re harmless water snakes, and definitely won’t hurt you if you don’t mess with them.
