@@oneadVANtureatatime Yeah when I went, I just had the morning I got there before sunrise and stopped right after I pulled onto the dirt road. Right at that first wash. And then I went up the Dougie on my way out to head back north. I took in natural Bridges on the way through it also.

FYI- we stay at the Valley of the Gods every year. We have taken out Class A 37.6 foot RV all the way around the 17 mile loop. We rubbed the trailer hitch at one spot. We normally un hook the jeep to drive in behind the RV. We did pull a 18 foot enclosed trailer of toys behind the 37.6 foot RV once into Valley of the Gods, but came in from the east and got a spot in the first 3.5 miles. Awesome place that we always have to stay at on the way to Moab. Thanks for the well done video. I have drone footage from VOF as well--good times. Boondocking for free always!!!

Hello from Ouray!! Wow...this is a spectacular area!! Thank you very much for sharing your experience there with us! Our Outdoors RV 22FQS travel trailer FINALLY arrived!! We will head down to South Padre Island in early January to install a solar setup on it. Our favorite close area, Silver Jack Reservoir, is closed for the winter now :-( So, we will head towards Valley Of the Gods for our break in trip!! Well, we have land in Paradox CO (just east of the LA Sal Mountains by Moab); so, we probably should go there first and stay quasi close. QUESTION: On your drive of the 17 mile loop, were you going counter clockwise (i.e started by the Comb Ridge/Bluff UT side and finished by the Mexican Hat access)? Safe travels and thank you for another homer of a video!!

Hey Dave are you taking any still images w/ the drone? Some of those compositions would be great in a still. Something you couldn't get w/ a dslr. Nice work!!
@oneadVANtureatatime3 жыл бұрын
I don't take a lot of stills with the drone but Carrie’s editing program can take stills from any of the drone videos. 😎

Hello Carrie and Dave! I just thought of something and I wanted to ask you guys about it... Since you have started your fourth year, I was wondering if you plan to do your top boondocking spots for last year? I have always loved those videos that you do. Thanking you in advance, Jodi 😊👍👋

Hi Jodi! We will be doing our top boondocking locations. This is a fun video to make for us. I think it will be coming out in late January. 😀😀😀

Could a van with 6 inch clearance do it? We don't have lift.
@oneadVANtureatatime3 жыл бұрын
Yes! You won't have any trouble as long as the road is not wet. Enter from the east side if you can, there are more places to camp and the road is better. 😎

Great drone footage. Amazing area for sure. Is that a Stormtrooper on the rear view mirror? For good luck because a stormtrooper never hits anything 😂😂
@oneadVANtureatatime3 жыл бұрын
That is a Stormtrooper! Good eyes, and we do manage to hit stuff 😂

Hi! Isn’t this place amazing! We are one of the few channels who include coordinates in our video descriptions. I copied this from the video description Valley Of The Gods Turn-off (37.2349871, -109.8145067). There are about two dozen places to stay along this route! This is the exact spot we stayed at (37.2840468, -109.8114295) Definitely plenty of places to pitch a tent!
