The Helsinki trams are some of the most beautiful in the world. Awesome hardware design and even more awesome livery.

I watch quite a lot of youtube during my days. And I have to say this is the highlight of the week. Sounds.. I didn't know a video about traffic could sound this fantastic. The breeze, even talking in the background, birdsong, clicking of bike gears. The tramway itself looks like a piece of art, with your cinematography it's been captured in its fullest. Thank you, so so very much. This is wholeheartedly fantastic.

Thank you very much for the kind words ☺ I wish to immerse the viewer in the environment with these videos (although I really should invest in a wind muffler)

Kiitos Hgin kaupunki❤
@blinder27862 ай бұрын
Kerrankin siihen maisemointiin on panostettu. Samaa ei voi sanoa kantakaupungin rempatuista kaduista. Asfalttihelvettiä toisensa perään, edes mannerheimintiehen ei kaupunki viitsinyt panostaa.

Dutchman here: Truly beautiful route ! With a new rightist government that prefers cars above public transport we can only dream about this kind of green investment .....
@Itapirkanmaa2Ай бұрын
All left-green governments love slums and poverty. You are only seeing the best part of it here, you should take a look at the hideous slums being built in the new urban areas of Helsinki. Search for Postipuisto, Kalasatama or Ruoholahti. When and if people accrue wealth, they will invariably move away from the slums and the Green "15-minute cities".

Wonderful shots! Are you manually moving the camera!? This slow slide @2:36 is particularly smooth. Finally, what camera do you use. Love from here in Paris!

@blinder27862 ай бұрын
No siinähän se näkyy alusta loppuun ja ihan oikeassa järjestyksessä. Tylsiä Ratikan ohjaamovideoita on Helsingistä miljoona eri kappaletta, eli ihan kiva saada myös tällaista ammattimaisesti kuvattua sisältöä.
@terraconv2 ай бұрын
@blinder27862 ай бұрын
@@terraconv Oikein ihanaa viikonloppua sinullekin!

To be honest, I really dislike the part at Hermannin Rantatie, long wide stretch of conrete with very little shadow. A pain especially when biking/walking on hot sunny days. But I guess there are some nice parts, too, along the track.

Where's the actual city? Wasteland every other block do not a city make. 08:25 Look at that wasted space. You could have a 1000 people living there.
@novactic-s9k4 ай бұрын
It is more of a public park type of area. And nearby neighborhoods are also under construction still. There is wasted space in Helsinki, but this is not it. Nature is not wasted space.

I hope you know that this tram doesn't go through or even near the city center. We do have a dense part too.
@mait19954 ай бұрын
To be honest yes it does look like it’s in the middle of nowhere. But having taken that path myself, it does connect some very crowded places. Filming has taken mostly in Kumpula/Vallila park area.
@XGD5layer4 ай бұрын
8:25 is next to a large park, a large artery road, a smaller artery road that stems from it and then there's obviously walking and cycling paths through the park because dense centres are nearby. Don't forget that snow requires a lot more space for snow management, so things cannot be packed too close together.
