Really wish we could have a front angle for these battles. A lot of dancers face the judges while dancing and I’m noticing based on other videos, we miss a lot by viewing from a back angle. For example rubix vs Larry, before the other video got taken down I noticed a lot I hadn’t in the video battle bad had posted. Great battle nevertheless

Top 16 usually means 1st place seed goes against 16th place, 2nd seed against 15th, 3rd against 14th etc. Imagine if they didn't do it like this, then 1st and 2nd place would knock each other out in Top 16 and the finals would be a complete mismatch

@@anonfalco7880 Well, they should do it like any other sport. Start off with brackets, and the winner of each bracket battles the winner of the other bracket until you get to the last 2 standing. Putting the weakest contender against one of the strongest contenders for a 1st match only ensures that the weaker contender is *destroyed* without any chance of another battle (right ?). If 16 place battles 13-15th place then she still has a chance to climb up the chain.

@@nuffflavor Actually that's how most tournaments do it. Pretty much all sports do the weakest against the strongest. This is because the seeding was decided by the pre-selections (a preliminary where they dance to get into the Top 16) done at the same event before this Top 16. 16th Had the chance before this knock out stage, but only just about made it in. The reward for doing well in pre-selection, which is the group stage, is a higher seed. Otherwise if done the way you said people would deliberately perform worse, get 13th - 16th so they could face easy opponent to get to the final.
