I think brimstone is incredibly good given the nature of the game. His ultimate is alright but in conjunction with good team work I think is awesome . But what I think makes him more of an A tier character is that he has so much utility and if he calls the shots he can fake plants, clutch, deny a whole site. given good positioning. He denies plants in up to 3 ways and can conversely help planting and assist in defuses in the same amount of ways. He’s also incredibly safe in most situations when attempting to get smokes down you can get into a corner and get smokes in choke points or cover yourself. I think he is probably b rank early but given a more competitive environment I could easily see him being a primary pick.

you aren’t even gonna talk about brimstones moli’s? No sky boxes with a almost half map launch distance can lead you to creating your own cross map moli’s onto a site to counter a plant or defuse which also causes insane damage and lasts for 6-8 seconds. That is absolutely nuts. On top of that you are extremely down playing his smokes. His smokes last so long, they CAN land anywhere on the map, he is also one of the most diverse characters for play styles (you can camp to support the team with the smokes, be a mid range aggressor and do as i mentioned with the moli’s and boosts allies rate of fire, or be very aggressive and use smokes to cause one way smokes to get easy frags or cut off lines of sight pre moli angles to advance a push or maybe even get a frag and his smokes to defend a site after bomb is insane) Brimstone is a easy A tier and in the hands of a good Brimstone player he’s borderline S tier, not to mention the combos he can do, sages slow floor with his moli is insane, hiding cyphers trip wires inside of his smokes to get a easy frag and stop a push is also nuts, sages slow walk with his ult, breach’s stun with his moli, easy A tier, it’s almost disrespectful that you put him in B tier

Raze is mega pubstomp-y. She'll see very little use in high competitive play but I bet she'll get constantly nerfed/reworked because people can't deal with her in low ranks

I disagree I've seen this argument yet watching the last 3 pro ish tournaments she stomps still so this logic is dumb and in a way disproved. They still use her at high level just fine

This is definitely a very solo queue tier list. Brimstone obviously way better in a more competitive environment because he can instantly smoke for an offensive execute. Also you SLEEPING on Omen. A well played Omen means the enemy team suddenly has to cover more angles than they are capable of. I also think you really undervalue recharging smokes that can go through terrain and over great distances. Only character who can fake an execute and still have utility later. Oh also his short range teleport does not make noise btw. A bad Omen just has worse smokes than brimstone and teleports in super obvious places and dies though. Which is most Omens. Also a note on Jett. She’s the only character you can get a pick and then instantly dash away to avoid a trade. So for example if the enemy team tries to push you when you have an op expecting to go 1 for 1 you just end up w/ a free kill. Still not the best character but better than I think you give credit for. Ordered I’d probably have it as S Sage Sova A Brimstone Phoenix Cypher Breach B Omen Viper C Jett Raze Definitely subjective though :P Also loving the Valorant and smash content still. Would love some gameplay vids of valorant or maybe stream highlights!!

billy bob he is kinda right... they are my two mains and cypher has zero abilities that help taking a point... so on attack you have like 2 smokes and maybe a tripwire to watch flanks... and that’s fine... but if they say take B and you were on a? Your cages/smokes are probably already placed or atleast one of them is and you can’t tripwire a point... Phoenix doesn’t add nearly as much to a team but he is very good on offense and on taking a point back/pushing an area... they are two very diff characters but I think they are about equal just in diff ways... cypher is probs the best defense character if they push your point or if you can rotate while Phoenix is much better on attack or just agro play in general

Jett c tier and worst?? Bro shes best duelist and best solo carry fighter

Sage is a better solo carry, Phoenix/Raze a better duelist. Her dash is only used for defense. Smokes last short time. Air jump you can hear a mile away and it messes up accuracy. Just pick her off if she ever jumps. ONLY redeeming quality is her ult imo because no recoil and great dmg + resets. Dash has crazy end lag afterwards, free headshot.

Jhotel exactly... her ult is really good but you only get that 4-5 times a game max... unless your playing aton of boys then maybe you’ll just get it repeatedly (like if you get a 45k or smt)

Also... she is really just good as an oper... you can get high ground and dash after peaking so that you can get out if you miss your shot or you get a peak and there’s another oper... pretty much anything else would be better for nearly any other character

I agree with sova but never raze she is realy bad and u can counter raze realy easy 1 U can easily excape the nades 2 U can easily shoot the little robot before he hits u 3 u can see if raze has her ulti and that gives a little advantage to dodge it and u can hear it when she has the ulty 4 that boost thing is okay but u can easily damage ur teammates with it that happen to me when I had a raze as a teammate
