2:19 Cubified here to clear some things out. NOW the red texture preview. There is a little string error with node preview but the texture do load correctly and 2:39 the glass does work its just using principle bsdf, so you have to do the connection!!! Ok now 3:13 each material slots are for something on the gun do dont change anything just remake it and change the material slot to the correct slot 4:08 the nodes from there cant be used in valorant porting bc theyre not really correct way to do it meaning that it works on that one specific gun and will kind of or just break the effect on the other guns from the skin line and pin so others can see this please

The VALORANT first person FOV is 25.4539 mm and the environment FOV is 14.3178mm. I still need to experiment with creating first person FOVs, but you can also try using blender's premade camera presets to get the look you desire.

I need those VFX dots, but i cant even find the texture. there is a twinkle_tx in it but its blank

In your export settings if you leave the twinkle_tx as a .TGA, the texture does actually show up, however I don't think it is the dots texture you are looking for. Seems like fmodel breaks something with its png conversion. You might have to tile the Champions2023_LED_v2.TGA in the /vfx/ folder to get the dots, but I'm not entirely sure.

is there a way to port green screened textures? like the champions text and logo on a vandal

@@snack_vlr I don't believe the green screen skins work out of the box with ValorantPorting. For any of the skins that have variants which upgrade the skin (e.g. glowing or smoke vfx), you'll have to use Fmodel to port everything and make it yourself

For that you can follow my last video, but use the agent ability folders instead, it's currently not supported by valorantporting. Otherwise, the kutuza pack has a lot of the abilities premade (up to harbors release iirc) if you want to take them from there.

I believe the highest tested working version for ValorantPorting is Blender 3.6, you can always import into an older version and update your scene, but you might have to change some shaders depending on what blender updated

question. Whenever I export ANYTHING to blender, it does nothing. I followed all of the steps and missed nothing but it's just blank. Though it says in the Log that "Finished exporting Vandal to blender in 0.067s" thingy but still, nothing even happened on the side of Blender. Any kind of help would be appreciated. Thank you!

If you just set it up, the newest version of ValorantPorting requires Blender 4.0. Make sure to read the GitHub to make sure you have the right versions of everything. I have also heard of some people toggling on and off the blender plugin and restarting the ValorantPorting program until it works.

@@hiroyashii If you're importing clove, I think she is broken at the moment since Riot changed the file structure. You'll have to use fmodel or umodel for that

I meant you have to make them yourself, there's no videos currently out for valorant vfx since it's different for every weapon. If you want to learn more about shaders, I recommend you watch a video on what blender nodes do and try to recreate it yoruself

I am using the Chinese client. When I imported the character model, only the arm model was imported. Did I make a mistake somewhere

@@melt_9350 Make sure you're using the newest update of ValorantPorting plus the updated Blender plugin (and Blender 4.0), that should fix only the arms being imported. I'm not sure if the Chinese client changes any of the paths, but worst case scenario you can use Fmodel to import manually.

@@akramhussain70 Most peoppe pose it themselves, or use a tool like Fmodel to export some of the in-game face animations to apply to the characters. Check out my thumbnail tutorial to see more!

Tried on blender 4.1, 4.0, and 3.6. Only on 3.6 does it import anything to blender, but it only imports the POV model for agent import. Any fixes? 😅

The newest release should have support for Blender 4.0+ assuming you install both the updated Application & Plugin. Make you install the newest version from the GitHub

Make sure you're using Blender 3.6, ValorantPorting is not compatible on the newer versions of blender yet.

I believe all of the characters aside from Clove should be fully functional to import using Valorantporting (since they changed the blueprint for them), make sure you're using the newest release of ValorantPorting and the version of Blender the GitHub mentions

@@phoenizyz I think Valorant may have put the magazine in a weird location that ValorantPorting can't automatically grab, I would recommend using Fmodel to decompile it. I have a tutorial for it on my channel, but it might be a little outdated, so use fmodel instead of umodel

Make sure you're using blender 3.6, I don't believe the plugin is compatible with the newer versions of blender yet

Unfortunately no, Fmodel (what ValorantPorting is based on) is a Windows only application since you need .NET 8.0 or later. It would also be difficult since you can't install Valorant on a Mac (you'd have to use the Valorant [Live] option).

@@OnyxxVal You can either export the animations with Fmodel and apply them to the character, or just go into pose mode with the rig selected and start rotating!

@@OnyxxVal That sounds like somehow your rig got separated from the mesh, make sure if you moved them between collections they stay together. You can try reimporting as well to make sure they stay together.
