Focus mode just slows down your sense when you hold it down, and stops the moment you let go. There is no aim assist from all the new gameplay footage coming out.

There is Aim Assist in the game, just not the usual one. Instead of being affected when your crosshair is near a target - like every other game does - it instead only works when your crosshair has already touched the target's body. After that, the crosshair becomes 'sticky' to the character.

A lot of people think this game won't "work" on controller, but i think it's quite the opposite. The way the shooting works is like, stand still, and try and keep your cursor still. And shoot in bursts. Doesn't really need a lot of crazy twitch shooting ability, for the most part.

When you add in abilities it does require a lot of twitch shooting and flicks. If you play duelist you’re gonna have consistently do twitch shooting on entry most rounds. And then on defense twitch shooting against movement duelist who will be dashing, sliding, and blast packing all over the place. I think the reason this will work is because off the fine tuning valorent has done, like with the “sticky” aim assist and focus mode.

Some characters actually have tweaks to compensate for console's slower turning. This includes Pheonix's flash activating slower to give controller player more time to turn around. Because of this, the game will likely be an entirely different build of Valorant so Custom Games wouldn't work.

its crazy adding console to a first person shooter game with the same mechanics like csgo. theres no doubt how matter how good you make console aim assist theres really no fixing and adapting the way u can flick and 180 or even 360 with mouse and keyboard. i hope theres a ranked queue specifically for mouse and keyboard and console. this would be outrageous if they mix console players and pc players because pc players have a clear massive advantage over console players.
