Just unfortunate that these teams decided to suck in their regions playoffs (Heretics finished third, Sen got 5th and only made it in via circuit points. If the seeding was more to the actual skill of the teams, they would likely have gotten Vitality and KRU instead.

TBH i want screaM to play again in a professional valorant team. Bro was MVP of both LCQs that Team liquid won. And somehow team liquid fell off since screaM left. I know screaM was not the best IGL or stuff. But he was not that bad that he couldn't be picked for a team.

After that he was mvp consistently on that team

Since there weren't any T2 EMEA players people brought up I'll list some here -Lime, pretty good duelist player who's been hard carrying teams pretty far in T2 for quite a while now -xuss, another pretty good duelist from the DACH league -B1SK, one of the players on KPI who were looking like favourites for Ascension in 2024 -aNguiSt, elllement and DaviH, the three most talented players from CGN, who went on kind of a miracle run through Ascension and nearly made the finals -Izzy, a Turkish duelist player who's been putting up huge performances in T2 for years now -qw1, the duelist for FUT in 2023 that got replaced by cNed, is currently kinda terrorising T2

I think ScreaM is one of the best aimers in valorant. But he always lacked top level supportive teammates. His worst decision was to join KC where few players were not close to tier 1 level. This let him down so badly. But still, i badly hoped that i would see him in VCT again. But unfortunately he is not there. I miss him a lot.

I think for Zest to find his footing for T1 play, he either needs to step up his reflexes or become a Scan/Anchor main. The more calm playstyle he’s on is in a volatile place, esp with how chaotic Valorant is becoming with Tejo and all the emphasis on util spam and fast set plays. Being in the frontlines all the time as an initiator might wear him down more than if he compliments his playstyle with a more chill and passive role like a Sentinel

Lakia has to be ny #1 for APAC.. Im just shocked that Gen.G didnt resign him especially after losing Meteor.. For EMEA I'd def agree with Nukkye and I'm surprised more ppl didnt say him.. he'd honestly be my #1 pick since cNed not playing is his personal choice and not bc he couldnt get signed.. Nukkye tho carried giants for the last couple years. Hes always been a pretty snappy anchor who was converted from a duelist, which has become popular for the sentinel position. He really went under the radar from being on crappy teams imo. Also as a Navi/old FPX fan Ardiis I'm not as surprised about, Navi was the 2nd best team in EMEA for basically half a year and then mnmgt made the dumbass decision of firing a really amazing head coach.. they were just so unlucky with seeding/brackets to qualify for internationals! That being said, I think Ardiis had taken a step back from his peak. Not saying he wasn't T1 worthy, but the hype surrounding him from 2022/Coppenhagen was still relevant for the 2024 season bc ppl wrote off 2023 as a blip with him going to NA. But after how last season ended, I'm sure all Navi players lost a lot of value

I feel like a lot of reasons why people aren't in Tier 1 at least in NA have to go all the way back to it started and how fucked the scouting was for a few years. It was basically finding someone who drops crazy numbers and force them on a role they don't play and hoping for the best. didn't matter what role you played in tier 2 you were gonna have to drop crazy numbers and unless you were the GOAT at opping you had to switch roles.

How abt the whole BLD roster without BLD? Many people compared Bleed to Boom but tbf they won ascension flawlessly. Niko ( the coach not our NAVI goat) and his players supposed to compete another year if the org did not go illegal and fail to pay their players. So I feel like Bleed roster deserve another year, but under a different name like their CS2 college changing their name to UNPAID. Yes I can understand that they have to go through regulation checks, players are likely have to play without being pay or even having a gaming house. But getting kick out of franchise while it is not their fault is just gutted

I don't think a lot of people watch tier 2 in anything other than NA until the ascension tourneys. Both regions are broken up into smaller VCLs making it harder for the average viewer to keep up with the whole scene. I do think EMEA suffers from recycling old players as well, but luckily there is a ton more tier 2 talent in the region this year.
