For the buddy, I believe it set as an RNG, so it the buddy changes for every game you join similar to the "Shuffle skin function"

where are you going that can buy a decent meal or getting a room for 20 dollars ? being on a budget at mcdonalds can easily up the price to 10-15 dollars for two people whereas going to a restaurant can easily run up the price to 40-50 dollars. and a "cheap" hotel near me is around 50-70 dollars while the average hotels are 110-120 dollars.

My guess on how to get the other animations on the buddy is some kind of interaction with your duo / the ppl you qeue with. Maybe if both of you have the buddy and you look at each other the buddy does the third animation.

It requires someone in the lobby to have that gun buddy for it to activate the love animation. You can drop your gun to your teammate and it will activate.

The buddy only works if your duo is in the game with you. For example, you're solo quing. It will not change to pink. If your duo (a person your queued with) also has the buddy equipped both of your buddies will be pink or "in love". I agree its 100% doushe-y that riot is charging money for this. $25??? Absurd. At this point they're genuinely money hungry and are running out of ideas. Emphasis on the money hungry part... the nightmarket is usually out for 14 days, now its out for over a month. And the new bundle being over 60 dollars for 3 skins..

Honestly I feel like we only have ourselves to blame for the paltry quality of skins and the exorbitant amount of money they charge for it. Like the current Chinese new year's bundle. The Vandal is basically a cheap Araxys and the Araxys has so much more going for it, like the finisher shows where the rest of the enemies you killed are and the gun has better animations too. Because of the fact that we buy all these overpriced skins instead of using our most powerful tool, 'The purchasing power of the consumer' to push RIot to reduce prices Riot knows they can get away with making overpriced skins and we will buy them no matter what. Honestly all creators need to come together as one and urge the community to stop buying skins until Riot does something about their prices because $100 for a bundle of pixels and another $10 for the battlepass to farm radianite? Like wtf? Stop buying skins and watch the prices drop.

This is the last straw for me, I'm not going to spend any more money on valorant skins unless they start throwing the community a freaking bone! it's actually disheartening to see how far one of my favorite company has fallen, they use to have reasonable prices for shit and now they introduce 200$ gachas in league and TFT and valorant skin prices have gone up continuously. I'm just not gonna spend a dime on their products anymore till something gets done about it (mind you, I have every skin in the game in league, I've played league for 10+ years; and a lot of the TFT skins too, also I've spent a fair bit in valorant as well). I didn't buy the kuronami skin even though I really wanted to but they keep upping the price and it's getting ridiculous at this point.
