My next piano video is here! In this video, I will be performing Benjamin Godard's Valse No. 2, Op. 56. I don't know much about Godard, but after playing a couple of his pieces, I am sold. He writes such beautiful and energetic pieces. I can't help but smile and move around while playing this gorgeous piece.
One of the main reasons why I became a piano performance major is because I want to share my music with everyone I possibly can. Music is very powerful and has the ability to change bad days into good ones. You never know when someone will need it, and that is the point of these videos.
This video is dedicated to the wonderful congregation of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. I have been with them for almost a year now, and words can not describe how much they have loved me and appreciated me since I've been there. To everyone at Chapel Hill as well as the Spirit Winds, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. I always look forward to playing with you guys every Wednesday and Sunday when we play. I always leave that building with a smile on my face. This video is for you guys!
