Love watching thrift hauls... it’s amazing some of the things you can find! As the saying goes, one (wo)man’s trash is another’s treasure. FYI: that little trinket dish, that you got in the bag with the Santa & the red bird figurine, is well worth what you paid for the bag. There were 2 of them that have sold in the last month on eBay for over $30 (+shipping) each; and there are currently none available, so may sell for a bit more right now. So yes, a good deal for $3.99. Also, I think that Santa ornament probably has some value depending on who it is by and the year. As always, thoroughly enjoyed your video. The first house you showed with the white columns is so nostalgic for me as it looks exactly like a main building of my college where I earned both of my degrees. Great haul, Tina! I love the Santa on the sled, the church and other houses, the mixed media look paper pad and clock stamps are cool too! Tim Holtz for $3.99 is great! The bags of goodies are fun! I haven’t been in a VV in ages, but my Sister’s gotten so fed up w/how pricey they’ve gotten, it’s turned us off of them. You did pretty great w/this Haul. I LOVE that Old Mrs Hubbard Lived In A Shoe little shoe!!!!! That would make a perfect Easter Fairy Garden focal point come Spring time. You really hit lucky w/all of the little Houses. That Church’s is a real treasure IMO. Especially w/the Stained Glass in the windows. That’s going to look so pretty when lit up. That Lace Collar is just gorgeous!!! I know someone in the Historical Clothing/Costume Community here on YT who is in the process of learning how to make Battenberg Lace, which what that kind of lace is called. To say it’s really fine Needlework? Major understatement!! She’s learning how to it for a major Project she’s getting ready to make for a big Event next year. If you want to see Gowns that will just blow your mind, go looking for House of Worth Gowns on Pinterest & get comfortable. The Gowns that Design House put out during the Edwardian years are just beyond your wildest imaginings. There are a few out there in the Historical Costuming/Clothing Community who are working on Recreations of their Favourite Worth Gowns & the one this Lady is working on, is a stunning Red Velvet w/all of this gorgeous Battenberg Lace on it. I really love Battenberg Lace & the Victorian/Edwardian Era just in general, but that Lace really something very special & when I see it, it just makes my heart happy if that makes sense. So that Collar to me? That was a great find!! I can’t get over the Paper/Scrapbooking Pads you found, but not one, but TWO Time Hotlz’s!?! Not even used!?! How does that even happen? W/out a doubt, those were the stars of the Haul. Just WOW!!! W/that, I need to go & toast myself a Raisin Cinnamon Bagel before calling it a night. I really wasn’t feeling that great today & really didn’t eat much during the day thanks to a rolling Tummy. I guess it’s settled down, as it’s crying out for something in it now. I really hope you’re feeling much better & taking it easy. You Take Care & Stay Safe!! 😊
