Pradip it's not value free society you can say it as value freedom in sociology means the ability of researchers to keep their personal biases out of research which they are conducting in the field of sociology. Positivist believe that sociology should be value free while critics believed that value freedom is undesirable.

Radhakamal Mukherjee had a sustained interest in the impact of values on human society. He held that a separation between fact and value was arbitrary. The facts and values could not be separated from each other in human interactions. Even a simple transaction was a value based or normatively conditioned behavior. Sorry Apoorva.... ap pehle english seekho. features me 2nd point me likha hai "and shapes personality of people. " iska mtlb ye nhi hai ki shape and personality alg elements hai. iska mtlb hai ki values people ki personality ko banane ka, use create and develop krne ka kaam krti hai.
