Wes overall shares some good info, but he lost credibility when he starting referring to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (mormons) as a “cult”, and the other claims he made of the church regarding why they want to have kids, etc… those were very inaccurate observations. It is a disrespect when someone not of our church wants to inaccurately speak on behalf of its millions of members. And I wonder if he read The Book of Mormon? It is another testament of Jesus Christ and even tells the story of the Savior’s appearance in the Americas. Why would a historian treat such a record with such dismissiveness?

God does not have to be real to inspire people, just like Superman and Santa Claus. Also, we only have religions because of their functions, they create a standard for a society and inspire poeple to reach that standard what creates stability and order and it allows the ruling class to manage people easier.
