Hey Lois that really sucks but who is they? If you investigate and really look at who votes for what bills in congress you will see that historically it is the Democrats that put forward bills to help the middle class and advocate to give them a fair shot. This past Wednesday the Republicans ( 80% of them agreed) proposed a budget in which Medicare, Social Security, the Affordable Care Act would need to be cut. Trump when he was President allowed for a tax cut for Americans but set that tax cut to expire in 2025. Trump also allowed a tax break for big business and corporations but did not set an expiry date. All Democrats and Republicans ( the people I mean) want the same thing….they all want affordable housing , access to affordable health care and to be able to provide their families the basic comforts of living. EVERY SINGE one wants these same things yet both are treating each other as the enemy. Honestly if people just made themselves aware of how the Dem’s and Republicans voted in congress I’ll bet you wouldn’t think so poorly of Democrats.
