Those high pressure fuel pump bolts are at max, 10 ft lbs, no reason to not use old bolts. hehe. Not like 10 ft bls is going to stretch them out. :)

Yup, mice damaged, they were very lucky no chewed wires.

Hello. Where did you purchase the replacement bolts? I can’t find them anywhere. I have checked all local karts stores, Kia parts sales and I’ve searched online. Please help or send a link. 11:48 on video you show part number but it pulled up water pump bolts. My car is 2015 Kia optima 2.0 SXL turbo. Thank you.

Check your nearest Kia dealership then show the part #, they should have it.

No need, they only get 10 ft bls of torque, that is nothing. They are not stretching with that torque.

At 8:15 what is the name of the clip directly to the left of the dip stick? I need to replace mine but don't know what to call it when talking to parts dept.

They don’t have specific name, wiring harness clip in general, the best name I can give is control wiring harness clip.

@@WrenchingRyan Thank you for your video, I was able to follow along and replaced the Gasket along with the High Pressure Pump Gasket. It was very easy following your step by step video. I had the timing belt replaced on the car last year! After reading several blogs and comments I came across the shop repair manual with the correct torque for the bolts on the valve cover should be 7.2lb start from the middle, front back, middle front back and move out. Fuel Pressure Pump should be at 10lb. Also read that when timing belt is replaced the Valve Cover Gasket and High Pressure Pump Gaskets should be replaced and not re-used. After a week, I have checked the car for leaks and there isn't a single sign of oil around the engine, and my wife has stopped complaining about smoke or burn smell. Thank you again! I have now subscribed to your channel.
