Yes, while connected to server located in Vienna my ping is fluctuating from 28 to 70 and while connected to Paris my ping is somehow stable at 46. A year back on CS:GO my ping to Vienna was 7 (I didn't move and I live 500 KM away from Vienna, same net provider and hardware).

Since they decided out of nowhere that subtick is better than 128-tick the game is fucked. Even 64-tick was better. Once they realise it and change it, things will go back to normal again.

Dude il do one better, played a game on vertigo last week. Swung, headshot the awper(gun and head goes up into the air), blood on the wall and he's still alive. Watch back the demo and server side didn't reg at all, got a recording of my pov. It's awesome.

I got a FPS drop about 30-50 fps, rubber-banding, dying behind the walls and shots are not connecting - this subtick thing is absolute rubish, they should just go to 128 tick.

I’ve had really big packet loss and it literally makes the game unplayable and puts me off. Using hotspot from my phone kinda fixes it but still spikes sometimes. Hopefully they fix this bs soon!

People still don't understand that Valorant has 128 tick servers, but the routing of the capacities is different. In short - it is quite possible to get only 64 or even only 32 ticks. Valorant does not have the better server performance. As for the AC, the devs could switch to systems like Easy Anti Cheat & Co with a snap of their fingers, but Valve doesn't want to. Not least because kernel AC's are actually little trojans. Yes, they do dedect more, but if I ask myself whether this should happen at the expense of my data, then thank you no. Additionally, leading cheat developers are already saying that a cheat AI like VAC is something that will be a massive headache for them in the future.

128 tick implies running 2x times the ticks on their servers, hence nearly 2 times the expenses. "Subtick" is stil 64 tick, but it's meant to take more variables into consideration when calculating shots. Only knowing valve, they won't even put sufficient funds into implementing this lame system

What parts you have? My game is running fine with a ryzen 7 7800x3d, rx 6600(getting an upgrade soon, can give you an update once I get a new one), 32gb of 6400Mt/s cl30 ram(cs had issues with this so running at 6000Mt/s cl30 just to run the game where other games are fine with old settings).

It´s not a network thing. What I´ve experienced so far is that jitter, packet loss and low server framerate goes up when using utility. Doesn´t matter if I use it by myself, a teammate or an enemy does. Also planting the bomb makes the graphs go red. And yes, hitreg is completely off. My aim rating on leetify dropped from 80 to 52 since the armory update. The weirdest shots connect but the clean ones don´t.

The fact that CS2 game devs didn't look through the CSGO changelogs over the years and apply them to CS2 before release is disappointing. They literally had 90% of all the problems in CS2 found in CSGO beforehand and literal changelogs for CSGO on a date to date basis, why they didn't use this at all to check the differences between cs2 and csgo is beyond me. Just feels like all the problems CSGO had since it's launch and since it's end, CS2 is getting a lot of similar problems, SO i imagine it'll take 10 years to get CS2 to get to the state CSGO was at end of life, but then CS3 will come out and it'll repeat all over again.

To be clear, just because something is possible in the current state of the game shouldn't mean we have to accept it and/or not complain about it. I see videos every day where pros, streamer or normal players get upset that the shots are sometimes more precise while running than in GO while standing still. This cannot and should not be allowed to remain so - It ruins the whole game!

I am no expert, but, what I feel is that they never built a new game, instead, they just transitioned it to a new engine. CS 1.6 to CS:GO was a completely new game It feels like a graphics enhancement mod with new sounds I can be wrong, maybe they worked hard on it and built the game from scratch. But, it doesn't feel like that

Garbage game. I stopped playing it 4 months ago when i get fed up with cheaters and Valve has done absolutely little to nothing to fix the real issues for this game and instead just pushes out more updates solely to take people's money without giving anything of substance in return. Sure the M4A1-S Fade and Vaporwave look pretty but what's the point of having one if the game isn't even worth playing because of cheaters and bad netcode. If Valve actually stopped treating this game like a red headed step child and it's pathetic fanboys stopped defending stupid updates like gun buddies and put Valve's feet to the fire for releasing a sequel in a half assed broken state while removing a fully fledge and functioning game that preceeded it. People gave Bilzzard more shit for removing OW1 with OW2 but when Valve does it Valvedrones just sallow the feces from Gabe's oriface and say "thank you master!"

I don't know why nobody mentions that fletcher himself said that there were no changes to the netcode, but they changed how the jitter is measured. This means that the loss was always there, it just didn't bother anyone because nobody noticed it. Doesn't mean that it's ok to have packet loss, but it shows that most people are only complaining because they can see (not feel) something that wasn't there before!

But they broke something in the Armory Update and I don't know what. Before the Update I had no Problems with any lags. No Teleporting. Yesterday I played a few Games and I was swimming through the server, then I decided to play CS:GO Restored and what can I say? Damn. It's so smooth. No Lags, No teleporting. Only buttersmooth Gameplay Experience.
