@@tsutomumybeloved7411 I always liked to overthink everything, so I had already overthought(?) this one when I learned that the difference between dragons and wiverns was the number of limbs, all the other classification stuff I was taught in elementary/middle school, so I didn't have to search anything online, though the most similar process would be that to research every single topic. Basically I like thinking answers to useless fantasy questions, trying to make them work based on my prior knowledge of the real world. Also did you know that a dragon's fire breath could potentially work by producing any inflammable gas (like methane, which we produce in our intestines thanks to bacteria), pumping it out really fast and using an organ similar to that of an electric eel to light it on fire? (think of an arc lighter in front of a deodorant spray can, it's the same principle) That would also explain why in certain settings they can't just keep breathing fire at will and have a limited amount of it ready at a time (methane production takes some time, and organic matter to decompose, so food). I didn't have to research any of this, I'm just a big fucking nerd.
