When you do your review, will you please talk about how much ghost pedaling there is and if there is enough resistance to get any exercise . I really want a trike but the lectric trike I have now gives no resistance and I get no exercise like I do with my bike with a torque sensor. I wonder if all the trikes with cadence sensor are this way. Thanks!

Thanks for watching. There are a number electric motor systems. Vamos trike and El Amigo use a torque sensitive motor. So, the power is applied when there is pressure on the pedals going forward (ie not free wheeling). The amount of power assist is governed by the power setting you choose, 0 (no assist) to 5 (Max assist). So if you want more exercise, choose assist lever 1 or 2. Hope that helps.

This is a motor cycle with a backup pedald drive.... When I see you, a tall guy, standing next to the behemoth... It must be a huge machine. Next try an 'urban arow'.

@@Adventure8 I am curious how tall you are? I am thinking about getting one of these but I am 195cm's.

@@Nickimas I’m 172cm. The El Amigo is a big bike, good for you height of around 200cm.

How many hours did it take you to assemble the bike?
@Adventure8 Жыл бұрын
A fast unbox and assemble would be 1 hour. Normal allow 2 hours. I was filming, stop and start, setup, lights, action, retake etc the filming took about 4 hours.

Hi! Thinking of buying the El Amigo as a (Sydney city) commuter bike with the option to have my child on the back for a short school commute. A year on, do you still feel the same about the bike? Or has there been a competitor that you rate since you filmed the video? Appreciate your efforts!
