Before extending his contract with Real Madrid for the 2023/24 season, Kroos explained that he had only two options: to stay at the Bernabeu or to retire.

Currently, the German's situation is such that he will decide after each season whether he is ready to continue his career. And if the answer is yes, while Real offer a new deal, the decision will be to extend it for 1 year.

A white jersey suits Kroos much better than a red one. What I also like about his assist to Vini Jr. is that he did it against Bayern, whose former executives Hoeneß and Rummenigge told Kroos that he is not a world class player and refused to offer him the exact same wages as Mario Götze. Bayern after Kroos left: 1 Champions League win. Real Madrid after Kroos joined them: 4 Champions League wins.

Kroos modric casimero.... they completed each other so perfectly... toni with his game control and accurate long balls, wonderful free kicks , luka with his hold up play .... dribbling in tight spaces and through balls and then casa who is a beast of a destroyer shielding our defense and can smack the ball from a long range occasionally into the net

Why people always say that he is technically not especially gifted? Sure he can't pass a lot of opponents all game long. But the reason for that is not that he is not technical. He simply has not enough speed. In reality his technic is superior to almost every player on the planet. He is never loosing the ball because of his anticipation and his ball handling. He can shoot a mosquito from the crossbar from 45 meters distance.

I honestly think Kroos is the reason for Madrid`s massive success in the recent years, Modric is usally the one that gets most of the praise, but Kroos controls the tempo of games, and he is an incredibly intelligent football player. Kroos to me, is the modern day Xavi and Pirlo, i do think Xavi and Pirlo is better then Kroos, but it is definetly incredibly close between those three.
