Yeah, tribal decks agree always fun. Many of my paper decks are tribal in some way, just because it's more fun to have creatures which kind of have a similar feel to them. Granted, I only play rather casual games with friends 😊.

Duress seems super useful. The board wipes are getting out of control right now for creature decks

@@KevinOnEarth_ Out of meta creature decks only enchantments (oh, the irony)get too strong on the board. Rest are actally weak - esper legends? Heavily relies on 1 card to be strong. Soldiers? The same. Fight rigging? Easily countered with target removal and highly relies on a starting hand. Also sunfall has almost no counterplay and has both offensive and defensive value, it's never healthy

Yea not healthy at all. Wizards over compensated by making all these exile board wipes, and all the 3 mana board wipes Creature decks are bad right now… which is absolutely a sign of an unhealthy meta. Farewell needs to go for sure. No way it should be able to exile everything for 6 mana. And I am a control player. I mostly play creature decks to get better at playing control, but sometimes they are fun … but they absolutely suck right now

Honestly if I had an atraxa sacrificed as a result of the Henrika play, I'd not be sad and would just admire their cool off meta deck and my opponent's play. Thanks for sharing LVD. The inclusion of duress main deck is also something I hadn't considered when looking at potential vamp decks post aftermath. I was looking at Florian but was he too slow?

So many options for Vamps now, my version has Anje, Bloodcaster and Forebear for more blood token synergy. I also splash blue for the Diabolist (deathtouch & ping) and Evelyn whom exiles both players top cards every time a vampire enters, if she stays around you get more and more options each turn especially if you cast Markov Baron on opponent's turn.

Monoblack vampires in historic with stromkirck condemned, welcoming vampire (synergising with Sorin at three mana and some fatal pushes) and lots of good one drops that could win by themself sprinkled with the markov barons have been crushing opponents lately for me.

Quality content as always. I tried a version with white but of course much more inconsistent than this one. Are you planning to do something in Alchemy/Historic for the LoTR release? I know not the most popular formats but "the ring tempts me" to try them to play with the new cards lol

It is good in temporarily stealing tokens but for anything else you have to go wide with your creatures which means that you get wiped out by most board sweepers that are played right now. It is generally good against decks that a R/B vampire deck should beat anyway and weak against decks that it has problems with.

I've been trying to make a Vampire Tribal Historic Brawl deck, but it seems to struggle on Arena due to no true WBR commander. I want both Elenda and Stromkirk Captain + deathtouch vamps with Zagras, Thief of Heartbeats lol

I used Evelyn for UBR Vampires. Blue there mostly as support. Snapdax wouldn't be terrible for WBR since it can mutate onto any vamp and the lifegain probably triggers some other cards in the deck. Only Downside is if Snapdax is on top, it's no longer a vampire

Man, fun deck… but whenever I take something like this online, it just gets steamed rolled by the usual suspects… Azorious control, enchantments, toxic, mono red.. and ramp stuff… I get those decks are amazing but how do people play those same things still? Standard is so stale right now.
