I WANT TO RANT: Abby had no self preservative traits, jeez, just tell the little psychopathic freak going through puberty without any inkling to true love or relationships some sob story about shacking up with your boyfriend for survival and that you have now grown to love him alone and still wanted to help your neighbours. That way she gets to live in the hotel, get favours and eat well while helping her community and seeing her boyfriend occasionally but noooooo, she went and acted a fool. Who cares if he’s young or whatever, you live in an apocalypse with access to good life, damn ethics, this is survival! The one flaw this series had was how they treated lumen compared to the book. That was a huge missed chance to explain some things. Otherwise every change the series did was excellent which is very rare for an adaptation. Even characters were explored better.
