@@corpsefoot758 I don’t think it’s so much that people didn’t think he’s good, but I’ve seen people say he’s not the best for new players to watch since he used bad decks in standard non ranked play which can make newer players think the deck is better than it is as it’s not against people really trying. And I think that’s a valid enough criticism, I’m personally happy to see him doing ranked now

I missed the days when standard I got to play Vampire Hexmage, Vampire Nighthawk, Bloodghast, Gatekeeper of Malakir, etc., and it was just mono black. At the time the top tier decks were just Jund with Bloodbraid Elf, Sprouting Thrinax, Putrid Leech, Blighting and Maelstrom Pulse, and B/W control with damn Baneslayer Angel & Jace the Mind Sculptor + Day of Judgement.

I tried this with 2x Dual Strike, which lets you copy Hungry For More (or a burn spell). It's not _better,_ but it's a fun way to burst ahead.

Enjoying the ranked content as the opponents are on average higher skill, but you should consider bo3 as this will accentuate the presumably desired effect of playing ranked to begin with. Thanks for all the consistently fantastic content!

Might I suggest roiling vortex? Leaving one mana open against life gain decks is a big enabler for these burn decks you’ve been making! I tried making a list for this deck that utilizes scourge of the skyclaves too as a big creature for 2 mana so I don’t really care about blocking

@@LegenVD The version of a Rakdos deck I did is more geared towards creatures rather than burn to become more of an aggro deck with hard removal for creatures and planeswalkers to clear a path for swinging. Along with Roiling vortex there's Malakir Mire//Malakir Rebirth and some Agadeem's awakenings and Shatterskull smashings for both bolting myself down to a low life total for scourge or for the ability to cast them as spells for their effects. I enjoy your content and seeing what you build is always an interesting watch.

The tribal vamps and werewolf decks are calling me, but I’m probably better served waiting till the next set drops when these archetypes in standard will better defined.

If LVD has started playing historic again I kinda wish he would give a look at moonveil regent and tri colors like grixis ravager with thought erasure/tyrant scorn/kroxa/etc and smothering egg and a control chell with a bunch of counters, cuz it does feel like I discovered dry powder but I dont see any1 else doing it... Only delver got attention but there are other broken cards in the set that impacted historic imo, the whole "jeskai control dominating" is a lie from what I experienced.

Alchemist has been an important enabler.
