"I'm a loner, but I'm kind of a people person, too". Yeah, that really is good. Great song & video. The words are sad, but the music is uplifting. I'm 76, and I keep on playing this song over & over. I think this song appeals to all age groups.

@ontemp5 жыл бұрын
This just means you don't know how to socialize properly to get into relationships so you feel like a loner, but your need for relationships calls for you to interact with people.
@hawkstrike185 жыл бұрын
@@ontemp ha, no, not exactly at least... more like, you're a loner *because* there haven't been truly decent/great people in your life, some who really understand you and are willing to support you through life and be mature about it (not like most people, who are too selfish and spoiled for that), so you feel very lonely even for a loner and even though you've been capable of enjoying your time alone just fine and usually prefer(red) to do so... but you can't continue like that (you feel like something is missing, as a social animal), you've just missed hanging out with friends and socializing with ppl who deserve your time and actually want to spend time with you (most are just focused on their little lives, stupid career, money, etc.). So, in other words, you are a loner by choice or circumstance (=lack of social skills or lovely people), or both, and/or you're complex enough to want to spend your time alone *and* with some people, because you're... human. p.s. I don't necessarily feel in a way similar to this, but I probably do. Also, I kind of confused myself writing this at a certain point, but hopefully it makes perfect sense and seems relatable at least to someone. If not, I'm confused but unique😏 p.p.s. being a "ppl's person" doesn't mean _any_ ppl's person, right? It just means you can be social (personally, sometimes I can, sometimes I'd rather not or flat out can't, depends on how confident I feel at a given moment/day).
@ontemp5 жыл бұрын
@@hawkstrike18 Nobody gets along with everybody, but you'll get a long with somebody as long as you express who you are. You may think you're unique but you're human with the same needs as everybody else, so somebody is going to relate to you. If you can't find compatible people, it's because you're not expressing who you are to enough people. Express who you are to 20 people you might not find chemistry. Express who you are to 200 people, you're bound to find someone you have good chemistry with.
@hawkstrike185 жыл бұрын
