I've considered Vampire Kingdom for a more competitive build since so many decks send cards to the GY..but I'm not sure if the pay off is worth it. And it can trigger even if your opponent has no cards on the field, forcing you to pop your own cards.

That's the downside of it, so you need to be careful when to activate it from your hand aswell 😉

Found your post with this video on the MD discord, i liked it since i prefer long unedited videos of replays with rogue/untiered decks rather than single gimmicky replay with heavy meme editing and that same Passionate Duelist/Fox Theme song. These videos are pretty good on how to play unpopular decks, there's not always good resources for them online, and it's pretty fun to use an untiered deck on low ladder against other petdeckers and yugiboomers, you are pretty brave going against meta. Keep it up!

I love it when PUNK summons PEP. But it is useless because Vampires can burn their own LP more than PUNK can do. And then "outplay" the PEP when battle while decreasing more and more LP, to steal the PEP then, so we can get the real value of PEP because we now have lower LP.

I think the burning ability they can achieve is similar, leaning a little in favor of Punk for their field spell Summoning P.E.P against a Vampire deck was a mistake but it is understandable if the deck is not familiar to him/her

Well, I depends on how you want to play the deck, in my case it's a vital card for stealing opponents cards in the graveyard and can cook more after that 😄

Not a necessity, you can replace it with Evenly Matched, Dark Ruler No More or One Day of Peace......etc. There're many options, select what suits your game style 😎

I really wish vampires were more competitive. In terms of competitiveness they just have vampire sucker and zombie vampire (these are so good they are splashed into other strategies.) IMO the zombie world version is a bit more competitive just because the vampire field spell is from e very different time. Use doomking and mizuki too. I need to experiment more. Zombies have some of the best generic type support out there

Vampires need some support such as link-1 monster, quickplay cards and monsters to be SP from hand or so, and last but not least a new boss monster link-4 or lvl 10 that can negate opponent graveyard activations . I ask too much

@@fro851 a new field spell would be welcome. Considering it’s from a time where GY effects were uncommon. Zombieworld still suffices though (the new field spell could definitely do something along the lines of negate all gy effects of monsters milled by vampire cards or while you have a vampire out) if abyss dweller is allowed to be as generic as rank 4 xyz I see nothing wrong with this. Vampires are like red eyes where the theme has split into different directions, in its current form it’s… a bad going second deck for the most part. It needs a really good board breaker in the archetype for this. They have a solid conditional negate but it’s not suited for going first or second unless you DO mill them or it’s turn 3+. If they wanna mill they really need to negate the opponents gy effects when they mill or do something like link 4 yuki-onna. As for a link one… it would need specific materials if it had a powerful effect. Link 4.. zombies or vampires both work. Personally.. I would want a retrain of vampire lord as a regular lv5 monster instead of XYZ too. It’s a classic and could definitely use it. It’s old state revolved around milling your opponent, times were very different back then, I remember one of my first irl structure decks was that trash one with vampire genesis.. also that rock one.

Vampires was a favorite archetype from summer to October while Icejade is my current favorite that started from now, which is why I don't understand why the last player scooped. he was in perfect condition even if you took their Gymir. But regardless, I'm happy to see vampires is still standing strong, especially as a pure vampires without using any zombie world engines.

Aegirine already use her emergency call effect and got negated by goddes, two boss 3k atk for direct hit 😢

@@diswardexia6105 An unfortunate situation but if you have tremora or if you get goddessed while you have the continuous trap, you could still summon aegirine again. Though that doesn't stop you from getting ashed if they have it, its unlikely to happen considering you would likely have been hit by it when you used aegirine the first time or on your possible maxx-c.

Truth is any deck can get to M1 it just depends on if youre ready to no life the game or not haha (Some decks still require more powerful, non archetypal engines)

I loved the pure vampire theme. I noticed you rely heavily upon trap cards. You draw 5 cards, I noticed most of them are trap cards. Like 3 out 5 or 4 out of 5.
