that second game should have played out very differently. the miss on the archon making the fetch enter tapped means the shock would have to be the next turn and also tapped, which meant no Knight activation and Questing Beast sticks around. Very good lesson to pay attention to all your effects, kids!

I'm confused, serge plays Naya but has a dr sham and a bayou? Can someone explain how Naya can have black mana in it please

In Canlander, unlike Commander, you are not strictly bound by a colour identity. Think of the Standard decks that included new Atraxa without a way to cast her, only reanimate her, the deck might have been say Black/Green, but still played a 4 colour card mainboard. The Colours and names of the decks seem to be more of a visual help for us viewers, and regardless, Deathrite Shaman is hybrid B/G, and lands don’t have colour identity, so if you wanted to play those cards in a Naya Commander deck I’m pretty certain there wouldn’t be an issue.

The deck can also have lands with at least one of the land types that Naya encompasses. So you could use a Bayou to fetch for a Stomping Ground, Temple Garden, or Jetmir's Garden. This level of flexibility is why fetches are so format warping. They let you, for example, cast a G/B hybrid card like Deathrite Shaman off of a Scalding Tarn by using it to fetch for a Breeding Pool.
