My tip: Be calm and patient in combat. Don't spam that Dodge button until your gonna be hit, then simply Dodge out of range.

Good tips. I find myself using the shadow. It inflicts heavy damage and put it around me since the enemies charge me. It works quite well

The embrace mechanic in Vampyr is an evolution (and much better implementation of) the Little Sister sac/save choice from Bioshock. Whereas that game kind of caved by giving those who saved the Little Sisters bonus gifts which almost entirely nullified the bonus Adam from sacrificing them, here in Vampyr that doesn't happen. However, by not embracing community pillars or too many innocents, you can improve conditions in the different wards and enemies will be less common. It's a small quality of life improvement, but this game feels like it responds to your choices in more real ways than most games. Also hats off to the devs for not being afraid to have your actions lock content. So many devs these days would rather ensure every player sees every bit of their hard work. I understand that impulse but it undermines the illusion of player choice and agency. Vampyr is a great game, I hope we get a sequel and I hope more studios follow in its footsteps.

This is true, Vampyr is such an underrated game and I hope we get to see something along the same lines as it, I mean it’s been 4 years and no sequel has been even hinted at which is unfortunate but I still hope to see something in the near future

i use two hands weapons and it does a lot of damage, and i can parry attacks with Y ( triangle) so it makes me able to bite ennemies , even bosses, very handful to not receive damage and get blood to heal yourself.

This game deserved so much more than it got from the devs, they never fixed bugs or anything just abandoned it when it didn't get super popular. My game froze 6 times last night, finally I made some progress after uninstalling and reinstalling. The fighting isn't that bad in my opinion, I've played games with much worse fighting and once I got used to this one I'm hard to kill unless it's a boss like Mary. Of all the bosses I deem her the most annoying to fight lol

When you reach the hospital eventually you will be tasked with going in the sewer. After you do the plot theres an unavoidable citizen rescue. (It's to teach you they can be resuced) Kill the dude. Eat him. When you sleep and return to the sewer you will see a surprise and get a surprise. *SURPRISE*

Another hint maybe most of know it before Lead an enemy to another enemy and watch the fight like a referee The thing that bothers me is..the choice of the chatting line that some times cost to lose the hint and never complete the blood quality meter..or sometime to lose some kind of bonuse or a prize for completing some side mission..!!! Level up by drinking civilians blood the fastest way. If u just kill people and other vampires, wont make a high level.

You get 6th level mesmerize with dr. from the penbroke, others can be eaten from each questline they provide. First Dorothy, then Sad Saint, then that tycoon and then the dr.
