I had my bracelet resized immediately when I purchased it. I prefer things tailored. But as for the bracelet tailored or not tailored, I think it is not just looks. The dangling motif will be hitting surfaces and get damaged. In addition, using a chain link for closing creates unwanted stress and pressure on the link which was not designed to be used as a closing mechanisms. But as everything in life, we all have our preferences😊

I just bought one 5 motif bracelet and was thinking whether to resize or not and after wearing it for a few times having one motif dangling, I really like to have one motif dangling. The dangling motif is so smoothly lay there on your skin and it does not bring any inconvenience. And the good thing is I can connect it to a 10 motif necklace to make it a longer necklace to wear on top of my sweater in winter. Yes, you might say that I can buy a 20 motif but I have tried on the 20 motifs and it's way too long for me. Not sure how long your bracelet is after resizing but if I want to resize mine, its total length would be 16 cm and the motif would be very close to each other and am not sure if I would like it. So I think it all depend on the person when it comes to resizing.

As long as you're happy, and it doesn't bother you, right? You can remove 2, 4, 6, or 8 links. 16 cm is extremely short, I'm not sure why that's your only option. They resize to all different sizes. I removed 4 links to keep the same length between each motif. Thank you for sharing :)))

@@SibyllaMirage SA helped measure the suitable length and due to extreme small wrist, even though it's at 16 cm, the bracelet still has plenty of room to move and falls off of the wrist a little bit.

@@Bird-d3q They're fine, because they don't come in contact with your skin, except for the back. If you spray even the tiniest amount of perfume on them, you'll have to replace the stones.

I pre order vca necklace in chalcedony motif, white gold chain.. That was not my first choice malachite is, but reviews in yt says to avoid it because it is very easily chipped or damaged so I check other other gems that are durable and would look good with white gold chain and can be worn everyday and I think chalcedony is the right choice..

Interesting perspective. I did not resize my bracelets and they fall where yours does.... my wrist is 15 cm and I am a very petite person. VCA SA's also do not recommend wearing the bracelet too tight. My mindset is to let people wear it how they choose since they bought it. But hey... we all have our own opinion. LOL I do not plan to do any resizing until I complete my stack and know where I want each piece to fall in the stack.

@@violamoheb5313 hammered gold is the most practical. MOP is high maintenance. Plus it can get dirty in between the stone and the frame, and that little gap is harder to clean. I agree that mop looks bright and large because of how it reflects light, but I wouldn't exchange my hammered gold for mop, but everyone is different :) xoxo

I just weighed my onyx and calcedony bracelets, both of which are sized the same and calcedony is exactly 0.5g heavier. It does feel light and kinda plasticky, but I think it's just the nature of the gemstone.

Also, try to focus more when you are showing your jewelry, you are too far back and we can’t really see them well. I have a question, can I recharge my MOP piece? I think it's safe, but I wouldn't recommend it. It's as hardwearing as onyx. I have a tutorial on how I wash it on my channel, that's all I would do to it.

No, it's absolutely stunning no matter what you do to it: I always wear sunblock on my hands, I get it wet and soapy every time I wash my hands, anything really. It's one of the most hardwearing and stunning stones I have ever seen.
