VCA can adjust your earrings in multiple ways: longer or shorter posts, thicker or thinner posts, higher or lower post position, and tighter or loose tension for post backings. You can also request VCA for the regular butterfly backings that fit your posts if you request it, that way you don't have to resort to the silicone backings which is not secured at all and I'd hate to see you losing such expensive earrings. You should definitely schedule an appointment with your SA to go through all the options so the earrings can fit comfortably on you. I have the sweet pave alhambra as well and I've opted for the thinner & longer posts because I have thick earlobes, I also got an extra set of the butterfly backs so I can switch between those and the la pousette backs depends on my activities of the day. According to my SA, their earrings can be adjusted multiple times for free!

@@sherxo Yes! Also, please ask to have the posts soldered. I've heard a handful of people losing their one or both of their VCA earrings because the posts fall out easily. You may not experience it thus far but it's a ticking time bomb.

Who is heavens name told you that your Diamonds would shrink or turn colors? They won’t. They may get soap film on them, but they can easily be cleaned. As far as “shrinking”, that is absurd. You do need to make sure that you have the prongs checked annually and unless you have some sort of accident, they are very secure. The majority of diamonds sold are set with prongs. Of course there are other ways to set stones (bezel set, pave, etc), but if diamonds in prongs shrank, people would be losing diamonds right and left! And Diamonds do not ever change color. You may buy colored diamonds, but they don’t change colors. As far as the backs, you can switch them out at any time for a regular back. And ALL Alhambra pieces are 18k gold. Likewise the grading of their diamonds is very specific and are very very good. So wear these to your hearts content!
