Mvg definitely thought he had 81 rather than 91 with him hitting the 19 then the 10. As he thought he left 62 rather than 72 after the 19

@@gothicgolem2947 oh yeah it’s really unusual but based on his follow up dart it seems that he’s messed up, hitting T10 doesn’t leave a finish for the 72 he was on but would on 62 which would have been left if he thought he was on 81 rather than 91. Imagine he takes it out though and left 10😬😂

I felt maybe he thought he'd left 89, so S19-T10 would leave tops. But 81 makes more sense.

I became a MVG fan over the last 18 months. And it has been satisfying watching his progress this year. Every tournament it was 'analysts' talking about how he hasn't won a ranking tournament. But he has consistently improved all year. The prior super series he was doing amazing things until the last 16. Then this super series, he broke past the last 16 to a semi-final, and now he got a win. That's how it works. You work hard, gain confidence, and start winning. It means more to me to watch someone work hard and grind it out and finally get the results than to just watch someone steamroll everyoone. Good on you, MVG.
