There are a number of films on Van Gogh. I have seen all of them.This is the worst one. Van Gogh would be very disappointed to see this. Just a C grade terrible French merde.

I try not to be condescending, but only a cretin could say such a thing with confidence. This is easily the best film on Van Gogh. It doesn't sensationalize him or make a typical Hollywood biopic of his life. It is a beautiful, slow film that shows him in a natural and unforced way. And Jacques Dutronc is perfect as Van Gogh.
