DLR was a great showman. One of the best. It was magic while it lasted. DLR does have a big ego and was irritating to his bandmates. Probably a lot of fans too. Even though I hated to see him go, all the Van Halen crew were drinking and driving each other crazy. The saddest day for me was Oct 6th 2020. I shed a tear because EVH was a huge part of my Life from 1978 to 2020. RIP Eddie, Gone but never Forgotten.

Yeah it was what it was... DLR was great for the band and so was Sammy, both in their unique ways. Yes, it was really sad when EVH passed. I was listening to him since I was 7 years old. Amazing. I mean who didn't know how to draw the VH logo in their high school notebooks right?

Something happened to Dave around the time of A Little Ain't Enough and since then he has never even been a shell of his former self! What a loser he's turned out to be!
