From one of the most overlooked artists. A fantastic album, in every aspect...

I didn’t hear about Van Hunt until I took a trip to Japan and my brother-in-law was playing this song. I was knocked off my feet by the lyrics and depth of this song. The sad thing besides never hearing about him in the US is that my brother-in-law doesn’t speak any English and he knew about him. What in the hell is wrong with our radio stations not to play this mans songs.

🙏 Just found 🔍 out who he was when I heard seconds of pleasure.. Totally underrated. Always wondered who he was and why wasn't he given airtime here..Better late than never. Thankful I found 🔍 out about him.

Radio plays only music that will lead young people to destruction. I am sure its by design to glorify gangsters and whores

That is too funny. Yeah, I live in the US too and bought the album when it dropped. I can't even remember how I found about him. Probably saw a video on BET or something. It's true he was overlooked and got lost in the industry machine. It's awesome that you're brother in law felt the vibe without knowing the language. I'm sure Van Hunt would be flattered.

I remember deciding whether to buy this CD, or the debut for Les Nubians...I chose this; and, was FLOORED the first time that I heard this track. Sheer BEAUTY.
