The interview I did not know I would enjoy so much. I genuinely understood when he explained the passing of a parent. But the cherry on top was, am good when am big or not. The relationship he has with himself. Truly enjoyed this. His so wholesome.🤗

Yeah man stick to it once you lose the weight it’s very easy to gain it right back.I gained 14lbs during the pandemic.As of 4-17-22 I’m down 10 lbs 10 more to go.

If diets really worked, you wouldn't need to do more than one. Diets don't work. If you want to lose weight, adding more physical activity to your routine has better effects than changing what you eat.

“Healing is not linear” - Charlamagne Wow I had to think deep about that. Interesting enough, I came across Van’s old breakfast club interview out of boredom just a week ago…not thinking that I would gain anything from it. However, it was very insightful! So much insight, that I started searching any interview that I could find of him! So to see him on the breakfast club again was great! I love his perspective on different topics! And I wish him all the best and much more success! I’m looking forward to buying the book!

I feel you Van, my mother died in 2007 and I am still having a hard time dealing with it. I do not let anyone mention the fact that my mother has passed because it makes it real. I am currently going through life as if she is still alive. I have not yet healed and I am trying but it is really hard, so I understand. I wish you healing and blessings. I am a fan.

A lot of mothers were lost recently including mine a couple of months ago.. it’s hard to deal with.. people wondered why I didn’t mention it to everyone I knew .. some people are private and deal with death differently.. the pain doesn’t go away and talking about it to everyone you see makes it worse..

"VAN" in Dutch is used to denote what village or family the person is from. Which is the reason why a lot of Dutch people have "van" as part of their name so it is a way to identify or locate their origin. Unfortunately just like the English names it seems blacks with a "VAN" may have been enslaved by people of Dutch origin.

I have always had a personal, connection in my opinion with Van, this interview brought tears to my eyes and I wished Charlemagne would not have laughed so much, he missed the mark in his laughing. Losing your parent makes you truly aware of your mortality and I learned that the hard way. Thank You Van and I will be praying for you. You are a special kind of person in any size you present at the time. 💕
