"VAN" in Dutch is used to denote what village or family the person is from. Which is the reason why a lot of Dutch people have "van" as part of their name so it is a way to identify or locate their origin. Unfortunately just like the English names it seems blacks with a "VAN" may have been enslaved by people of Dutch origin.

I have always had a personal, connection in my opinion with Van, this interview brought tears to my eyes and I wished Charlemagne would not have laughed so much, he missed the mark in his laughing. Losing your parent makes you truly aware of your mortality and I learned that the hard way. Thank You Van and I will be praying for you. You are a special kind of person in any size you present at the time. 💕
