Van Life || Best Places To Cook Meals When Living In A Smaller Vehicle

We're Phil and Vanessa and welcome to our KZbin channel. We have been living in our 2004 Honda Element since July, 2016 while working and going to school full time.
This is our second time around living in a vehicle. The first time was during our 2 year backpacking trip around Asia & Australia 4 years ago.
We just sold our 'home' recently and getting ready for Van Life in Europe!

Phil, I have a Element 03. I LOVE my 700 watt microwave, plus 2 Domedic freezers. One for freezing and the other for refrigerating. I have both of them on the passenger seat when eating and working on computer and when sleeping and on the passenger seat. I have a setup like Nate has in his E. I power everything with 2 golf cart batteries.220 amp hr. Charged with a battery isolater. I cook and eat in the E no matter where I am in any weather. I’m set up to be completely stealth. I’ve slept and cooked on California St in San Francisco for 4 days. I transfer food from freezer to refrigerator 3 days before microwaving. Less power used in microwave cooking. I also use 2 frozen blocks taken from freezer and put in refrigerator and then use as cooler without using power from batteries. I transfer ice blocks daily .

we missed it the first week or so, but we're ok now. Mentally, I think we are just ready to get out with our trip and focusing on our next van. So we're good. =) and probably Vanessa misses it more.
