Emma is on the road to recovery but we’re not sure how long that road will be. We are slowly easing back into Van Life but Van Life In a wheelchair is not easy.
WHO WE ARE?
Emma and Reese a married couple who for the last 10 years have been TRAVELLING around in various CAMPER-VANS. Now with our little dog Daisy we TRAVEL around in our SELF CONVERTED VAN showing you how to VISIT the VERY BEST PLACES the UK and EUROPE have to offer. We don’t pretend to be anything but ourselves and believe in always staying positive.
Our CAMPER VAN called Romany is a 2019 FORD TRANSIT VAN that is our TINY HOME ON WHEELS.
We have also bought a 57ft CANAL BOAT which we are currently converting and will be going between the VAN and the BOAT to live life to the fullest and bring you enjoyable CREATIVE VIDEO CONTENT.

I know what you are talking about when it comes to being outside. I had a very bad cancer and I’m still recovering. During my illness I sat outside each day no matter the weather and am still doing it. I also have old back fractures and just got over foot surgery 🤣😂🤣. I don’t take prescription drugs unless it’s something I really need. I use medical cannabis which I make into tinctures. It’s something I can regulate. Hopefully you’ll be up and going places soon!!! I can’t wait until I can travel again!!!!!!!!

You are spot on with the accessibility issues and the way people are around wheelchair users..I'm an ambulatory wheelchair user and find myself doing everything I can to avoid using it, which usually means not going out😔. Really good to see you looking brighter and have such lovely care around you. xx

You two are doing a perfect job of waking people up to others in wheelchairs. Their not of course sad aliens anyone should feel sorry for, and generally patience, caring, understanding or just good helpful manners and a stack of common sense means an awful lot to them. Sadly to many they are just in the way and shouldn't be out at all which is a terrible attitude problem to show anyone, let alone any wheelchair users. I had to use one for 3 years and what you learn from that in regards to other people being out and about will remain a wonderment to me. Hope you soon recover Emma, but you will never forget the ignorance to chair users. The funny upside Emma, you always have somewhere to sit and in many cases see things you wouldn't generally notice. I would suggest you use the foot rests if your chair has them, far more comfy a ride and always think brakes even if Reese is with you. Your also right about all the meds, if you can do without them, do it, as it is 100% mind over matter.

Yeah needs to be a lot more awareness it’s just ridiculous especially the places where you’re supposed to be able to cross roads safely and they’ve put cobbles in the way. Can’t get over that at all. Thanks for watching 😊😊

I was born with cerebral palsy. I was diagnosed at two years old. I was married for 16 years. I had a daughter at 40. Feel terribly guilty now. I miss my daughter so much. We stay in touch via text. But nothing makes up for talking to people. What an incredibly strong person you are.

Hi guys nice to see u out in the van i can relate to the wheelchair , my hubby took me in a wheelchair to the supermarket, as i was having a flare up of the fibromyalgia. He put me to one side next to the shelves , and put the brake on , a man came wanted something off the top shelf, i couldnt take the break off, so instead of him waiting for my hubby he proceeded to reach over me i turned to be face to face with his crotch. Alls i wanted to do was bite him, on the leg of course 😂, just to make him realise i was actually there, he just carried on as though i wasnt, i looked over to where hubby was coming back, and he a big smile on his face. . When we were leaving he went to put the trolley back and when i saw him coming i had to get him back, i wheeled my self towards the kids ride , he said where r u going so i shouted i wanna go on that one, he wasnt laughing any more pmsl , get better soon , and ii so want a cuddle with daisy, we have a yorkie called lunar moon tc guys x
