Hey guys, brilliant we’ve done it we are in ours 70s now but thought you both are just lovely down to earth but realistic and very sensible, We’ve had motorhomes but sold ours during the pandemic realised we made a mistake,so I bought a delivery van Ford Transit LWB/HT and converted it , so now we have a CAMPERVAN which we love. In August 23 my little wife had a massive heart attack had three stents put in her heart, she is now doing well and now we are looking forward to start our travels again soon. Enjoy your life together look after each other and keep laughing, Best wishes to you both, Gerry and Veronica.❤

Hello Both. Well what can I say. You had a fantastic time in Spain and all for 2700 pounds, sounds fantastic. England is just a rip off. Can see now why everyone with a motorhome head down there. Nice sun, nice food, nice country, nice people. No brainier really. Yes u need to keep doing it while young, good luck to u both. Looking forward to seeing your next video. Take care. This old timer well 58 is still converting my ex sainsbury supermarket van to camper, might just make it to Felixstowe, 30 miles away. Don't get old. Best wishes David and Beverley Norfolk

Just found your channel and loving the tips. Especially the W3W for park ups. We're almost 70, only 6 months into motorhoming and loving it. Did 16 weeks to Greece and back via Albania etc. Trip of a lifetime. Life is for living! Can't wait to do 24/25 winter in Spain. Sick of UK winters. We both had heart attacks and me stents like your grandfather but believe we must do these experiences before we get old, poor health or just don't want to any longer. Well done you two. A breath of fresh air. Very interesting and entertaining. Muchas gracias. 🤙👏👍😊🙏

Cheers steps 2 adventure, we are planning to retire early next year and have not yet been explained how to get over the 4 months restriction on the dog passport to enable us to Schengen shuffle. Love your vids so keep up the great work but could you maybe go into more detail on dog passports for brits this would really be helpful for like minded travellers to erase the expensive uk health certificate. love to you both.
@Steps2adventure5 ай бұрын
Hi dave it's super simple you just have to register your dog overseas in any vet just pop in and ask for a eu passport for your dog they basically do everything for you make sure to take your animal health certificate and any vaccines your dog has had so they can transfer the information you will need to get the rabies boosters every year in an EU country but if your wanting to do the schengen shuffle make sure you get a titer test done at the same time if your dog fails you will have to go again which is a pain as 3 month is a tight deadline hopefully in the next year or two we will be back in but for now it's a right pain with a dog to do the schengen shuffle
@Vdtravels5 ай бұрын
@@Steps2adventure Cheers for the info , we will definably look into it when we are there, just one more thing guys , we have been informed by some people that we have to supply a EU address to register our dog with an EU vet?

Cheers thanks for the info. Trying to budget my own trip. I've seen a few of these and they never include insurance for MH, health insurance or breakdown cover, this would obviously add to your monthly cost other than that I think everything was covered. I know you included the ghic card but I thought you would also have health insurance
@Steps2adventure9 ай бұрын
Hey to be honest we completely forgot about that. Travel insurance was £40 for both of us. Breakdown cover was £60 with AA. Our normal campervan insurance covers European cover for 3 months so no additional charge 🥰

So you only get 90 days in the Schengen area before having to leave for 90 days. So instead of returning back to the UK you can go to somewhere like Turkey for 90 days to then be able to go back into the Schengen area again 🫣
