van life in nyc: the good, the bad, and the ugly

hey hey. here are some clips from a rollercoaster of a day in my life in nyc. the city is starting to get to me and certainly eager to be back in the woods full time. but for now, new york it is.
as for those new here my name is Courtney. I live full time in my chevy express, Sylvia, with Mojo the Cat and Archibald the Dog. Currently stuck in nyc for the time being to make some cash before hopefully heading west again this coming fall to escape the cold.

Thanks for your comment. In many ways I treat my filming/editing process as an opportunity/attempt to find special moments/sounds/sensations that otherwise I wouldn’t notice throughout my typical days (whether I am stressed, calm, sad, happy, indifferent) . When it’s all compiled I can more easily see the calm/stillness as a watcher of my lil life that I might not have noticed in the moment themselves. So I suppose I feel a bit of everything, but when you have a bit of everything in one place idk it all ends up being very …calm ? I’m rambling!

Sending love from the middle of the bush in Northern Canada. Your van life seems amazing to me. The only thing that would concern me is that I get up 500 X a night to pee lol other then that I feel like this looks like so much fun

It is obvious that you need your peace and space to free think, and not the hassle of Ny City. Save and if possible line up an on line job so you can have more down time to be off grid. take care.

Yeah definitely grinding at the moment … and yes ! The city always looks so pretty from the water , was v moody and gloomy on that ride across the east river
