So very beautiful in Pennsylvania I spent two months working out there and was able to enjoy a small portion of Pennsylvania in the Leigh high area. When I hit the road I plan to revisit there and explore as much of that beautiful state as I can. Another great video!

Thank goodness I ate before watching your video. Sadly, your breakfast beat out my shredded wheat with fresh strawberries, rats. You definitely know how to eat well on the road. I just returned from an 1800 mile, 10 day trip in my new truck camper. I avoided all major highways and took my sweet time. It was wonderful.

I grew up hiking the hills in PA and right now am slowly working my way north for a Memorial day camping trip. Watching, I was reminded why we changed the date for our annual fishing trip back from opening of Trout season to Memorial day: sun and warmth. Plus it's amazing how green things get over the next few weeks up there...

Brian, Great to have you in the area. We've hiked the Falls Trail of Rickets Glen many times. For anyone else who would like to visit there is parking down on Rt 118. Lake Jean is at the top of the trail with a beach swimming area. They have a concession stand if you're hungry. Note: This is a lot of walking, especially if you're hiking back down. But if you're young & strong it wouldn't be a problem.
@AdventureVanMan6 жыл бұрын
Watch out for the 18% grade coming down from the park into Red Rock! It did a number on my brakes! 👍
@carpenterfamily61986 жыл бұрын
YES ! That is very true. There are pull overs at the top for big trucks. Even though I'm familiar with the road & only driving a mini van, I always pull over and get as slow of a start as possible going down that hill - then keep it slow - don't let speed build too much. Like Brian said, please take it seriously.

Just missed you at Silver Springs campground. I was there the night of Friday, May 4. I found this campground last October when I stayed there to attend a concert in nearby Kent, OH. Stayed there again when I went to another concert in Kent this past weekend. It only cost $12 last year. Ken, the campground manager was almost apologetic when he told me they had raised the price to $15 this year. :) You're right, it's a nice spot to stay for visiting and hiking at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. And the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland is not far either.
