Your wife can always be an emergency substitute teacher or if you want to become a certified substitute, pay some money and usually get fingerprinted. NV has a shortage. Great winter temperatures in southern area. Good Luck! My dad, ex-husband and brother in law were iron workers!

no, its really not.. work more, spend nothing on junk or"things", save, cut out rent with this kind of move in your life. its very easy.. most jobs pay at least 10 bucks an hour. anyone can get ahead on that, if they plan their life correctly, and let go of"things"

Wow! Im in Central Oregon, been here since I left Alaskan Bush in 95. Lived right outside Denali and worked that area in summers. Love this area, got a rec site on river in LaPine so I had a place to park tiny house, then into van to live full time. The rat race was never for me, started my SS at 62 but always worked a minimal amount and live frugally as a minimalist. Thank you for all your videos, they are so inspiring and helpful.

one of my first real jobs was the summer when I was 16 working a conservation camp ground here in Canada. I had a blast and when you mentioned the washrooms I laughed. You are right about that. I spent 1982 to 2018 working 3 months a year and taking 9 months off. I work June, July and August then take September to May off. I work as a chef/cook or other forms of food service. The catch is I do not own a car, RV or any motor vehicles, I ride a bicycle to and from, from WY, pr another northern states ( I have worked in many states in summer. Then I bike south to southern Arizona and spend time enjoying the sun, like another summer to me around Tucson. Then in the spring I bike back north and work another summer. I live on about $5000 a year for places to live in the north and in the south and for food along the way. Only two bills do I have food and shelter. My tent is my shelter 6 months a year and indoors the other six months.
