My mother used a old ringer washer , she would wash the Whites and the lightist soild clothes first , then the dark clothes ( levies ) second , then rugs using the same water , then she put them in the same order through two rinses , with this washer you can't take and wring the clothes into the the rinses tub like she did so you'll have to just wash , spin , sit aside each load then when last load of laundry is washed drain out the dirty water , then refill with clean water and put the washed clothes through one or two rinses depending on how clean the rinses water looks . while one might think the clothes wouldn't come clean they did ! We had 10 people in our family . Now this method wouldn't be necessary for one person or if you have ample water , but if you have two or more people and a limited amount of water it is an option .👍

I have a Costway washer/spinner smaller size than this model, I'm a smaller person. He is not at all exaggerating. This machines are well worth the price and effort it takes to operate, I had been doing laundry at the "mat" always costing $40- 50 a month, bought my machine on eBay for $55. and was supersized that some of my clothes that appeared old and dingy came very clean. I have had mine nearly a year and still am amazed at what a great deal it!

I have one of these in my apartment - works great. The first one I bought was a single tub unit about 3/4 the size of a tall kitchen trash can - but it didn't have a spin cycle and my arthritic hands cant wring clothes. So I got rid of it and got one of these. Some tips: 1) I use mine in the tub. The best way to fill them is with a shower/sink wand - rather than the fill hose or a bucket. This also allows you, after the rinse cycle, to lightly spray off the clothes for an additional rinse as you transfer them to the spinner. It also allows you to spray down the inside of the tubs before dirt and soap scum gets a chance to dry. It has a gravity drain - no pump. 2) If you overfill them water can splash out while it agitates. They have a max fill line. Mine is at the top of protruding vertical spines in the tub wall - that also provide an uneven surface to aid washing. The more water you use the less the machine has to work to agitate clothes - so, you may not need to fill it for every load - but you don't want to under fill by too much. 3) A 6 minute wash and 3 minute rinse (especially if you're giving them a light spray between rinse and spin cycles) is plenty for most light to moderately soiled clothes, and I have never used the spin cycle for more than 2 minutes - and think anything over 1 minute is probably overkill. 4) - Mine will only wash one pair of denim jeans at a time. And if you put anything in with them they will tend to get tangled in the pant legs and make the agitator work harder. BUT it will wash a pair of jeans and the tangling and bogging down would be less of a problem with lighter fabric, so you could possibly do 2-3 pair of khakis. It will easily wash a full set of queen size sheets (top, fitted, 2 pillow cases) - though I will generally spin one sheet and pillowcase at a time. It can wash a 1/2 dozen shirts, and maybe a couple dish towels easily - though several long sleeve shirts may tangle. It will do a dozen pair of underwear and dozen pair socks easily in one load - again, I will split loads for the smaller spin tub. 5) - Last I checked these are currently in the $125-$150 range but I've seen a couple dozen for sale on Facebook Marketplace in the last two years, for around $60. They also make a single tub unit (tall kitchen trash can size) that comes with a spin basket that can be attached to the agitator after the wash and rinse cycles. I can't speak on how well they work, but their about $80-$100 - (search 'portable washer single tub with spin cycle')

I've had the same Costway washing machine for about a year now and echo the comments in this video, it's been fantastic! For those interesteted in using even less water, if you put in the exact right little amount of soap, you can actually just do one wash cycle and no rinse at all. With the right amount, all the soap will bind to the dirt and not be left in the clothes. Also, something to think about....dirty clothes are the same amount of dirty before you wash them as when you last wore them before taking them off. In other words, before we take off our clothes, we are wearing dirty clothes for a period. So one could even use this machine with very little or no soap, no rinse cycle and use hardly any water and have pretty clean clothes. That being said, I prefer using more water and rinsing for the cleanest clothes . This machine does a really good job at getting things clean. For those living in Vans with less space, I believe there are much smaller versions of this machine that have only the spin dry part, so you could hand wash in a bucket and then just spin dry. IMO, the spin dryer is the best part about this machine as most of the work in hand washing is wringing out the clothes.

I bought a different brand through Amazon. But it's the same thing. I got one for my camper. I'm not a nomad, but I'm a care giver for my father in law. He's 88 and they have issues that need immediate attention. I have washed clothes, removed them, washed a few loads, then spin them all out then empty the water and then rinse all the loads and spin them out. I spin the clothes while the clothes are washing / rinsing to save time. By washing several loads without dumping the water you save water. I wash light clothes first and work to dark. Then repeat that way for rinse. Works great! Best money I spent. I store mine in the tub, I wash clothes both inside tube or outside. Depends on where I am an their rules.

For some of us with poor arm strength it would be good for an emergency to wash a pair of jeans and underwear when camping out in the bush, but we probably couldn't live off of it with the amount of towels, mats, sheets and shirts we use. My mum had a twin tub for years, the spinner was awesome. The round plastic guard that goes over the top of the clothes in the spinner also prevents socks from flying up and over the edge of the spinner and getting caught in the machinery. Worth the money I think.

I've been using a Panda spin dryer for 5 years now, and even with a conventional washer, I got over 2 quarts of water out of my clothes after the spin cycle on a brand new Whirlpool. I used this as practice for seeing if I could live without a dryer in my tiny house on wheels. I used to wash all my clothes in my bath water when I was hooked up to land water, but now that I carry it in myself, I have a WonderWasher that I like even better. I never thought that laundry would be entertaining, ever. I used to run a bed and breakfast, and I've done some serious laundry in my time. lol This is nearly fun. It's definitely mindful.

And I save a ton of quarters $$ every month not having to pay for using a public laundromat.Win-win!

I made a simple $2.00 or so adapter for it so it screws onto my shower head and drains down the bathtub.

We're most definitely ordering one once we're in our rv full time. All of the reviews on these little washers are great! And so much time and money saved by not traveling to the laundry mat. Just another way to be free! Thanks for posting!

does randy has a you tube channel? I really like his washer. This machine paid for itself even if it just last 100 loads. The freedom not to stuck @ a laundromat is priceless.

I have one of these in my condo and I love it. I have used it for about a year and can tell you that the "spin dryer" concept still blows my mind. I can fit two pairs of jeans in the washer, spine each separately and can wear a pair in the morning. No musty smellling laundry ever. We have coin laundry machines downstairs for $1.25 each but I think I am ahead in my purchase of this machine for $75 on Amazon. I tried that bucket method, the salad spinner, and was worn out so it was too much. Spin dryers are the future!

What about large bulky items? No one has a video for that they just make it seem like these washers work for everything. Glade this guy said about the jeans 👖 and that there hard to wash in it.

I love ours! It stores easily in the shower of our Class C. It allows us to stay dispersed for longer periods of time. I still use the laundromat for sheets, towels and jeans but love this for t-shirts, socks and underwear.

Looks like a nice RV washing machine. When my Mother was on Welfare in Illinois in 1970, she used an old fashion washboard in the bathtub to wash my sister and my clothes, does anyone still use one in your RV wagon train?.

These are amazing! I had one, bigger than this one, at home in Costa Rica. I loved them! Especially for the spinning part. So glad to hear that this size exists. Thanks for the video.

I have a Pyle, and love it. I got it after my 1000 dollar washing machine conked out a second time in less than three months, and Sears wanted another 300 dollars to fix it. Since I was getting ready to hit the road, I got it. I keep it in my shower when I am on the road, and remove it to shower. I set it on a table and do my laundry.. quickly easily and its only 26 pounds.
