Thanks for the comment mate. It weren’t the best of days to explore with the weather, and that was in July! But it’s a few spots around the Peak District, which hopefully will remain litter free for us to use 👍🏼

Eyam is pronounced eem to rhyme with seam. It suffered an outbreak of plague in 1665-1666 in which the majority of the villagers died.

@AJT_1980 It was a terrible tragedy and the villagers decided to isolate themselves in order not to spread the disease. Vinegar pots were left at the village border in order to leave payment for merchants delivering food. The nursery rhyme Ring o' ring o' roses, originated out of this incident and is incorporated into the school gates in the village. I was in the village today and I can recommend Eyam Tearooms.

Excellent mate. I am going to check out some of the Peak District over the coming Autumn/Winter months and will for sure go to Eyam. I will do a little vlog on any of the trips I do mate. I have a couple of weekends of football ahead as I am a season ticket holder at Nottingham Forest. We are at home this weekend and the weekend after I am going to Liverpool. But soon I’ll have a weekend free for exploring the outdoors again 👌🏼🏔️ 🚐

@ToplessBarber333 it’s been a terrible 10 months or so mate. We’ve had nothing but rain or cold winds. Can’t remember it being this bad for so long. Hope we get a decent summer in 2024 ☀️ 👍🏼
