I’m sorry….. My last comment was made before I watched the video…… A harness would be a good idea so she can’t break the lead……. And if it was me, I would make her an inside kitty cat…….. although they do have outdoor pop-up enclosures…… her being an older cat it might be hard to get her used to it though🤔…… Inside cat would be the best ….. and periodic outdoor walks on a harness like a dog……. Hope I didn’t upset you with my last comment 😊

Hi Becca the worst feeling in the world is losing one of your animals ,I lost my cat unfortunately she never came back I searched everywhere knocked on doors, found out a few cats went missing around the same time in my area ,from then on every cat i have had have been inside/outside cats with harnesses and ropes attached and tied up somewhere so they still had adventures outside they had the best of two worlds ,my last girl lived 21 Happy Years . I really enjoy you videos ,I dont usually comment but i felt the need on this one as our fur babies are family .God Bless you both Stay Safe Stay Alert and Most importantly Be Happy🤗😻💞

My next upload might change your mind… in hindsight it was a much bigger risk keeping her on a lead. She’s loving life now she’s free 😻

Finding good stopovers numbers 2, 3, 4, etc are part of the learning curve: and will also test Savannah’s new found skills. Be patient, and take care 👌💙❤️

In general cats will return home after being inside for 6 to 8 weeks. Don't worry to much when she escape....

Hi Becca, just thinking how your lifevand Savannahs mirror each other, she wants to explore...and so do you! Just be careful being in the same lace too long, she will start to think its "home". Much love as always 💟💟

What a wonderful observation! I love that 🥰 She certainly goes further from the van now after I’ve been parked somewhere a few days. The more she learns the area the braver she gets. But she always comes back to the van if it’s the first time or the 10th time. It’s quite remarkable! 😻

Hi Becca, maybe not buy a 🦁 just yet 😂 slight difference in cat sizes and Savannah would be a snack for a lion 😮 😂😂 I’m with you on the nervous feelings as she is out without a lead that road is really close isn’t it 😩 Happy travels guys take care.

So glad Savanna came back. My worst nightmare. Which cat tracker have you gone for? I want to get one for my girl ready for when we start our van adventures, but I just can't decide on one 😕

It was! My mum rightly pointed out she’s showing you she knows what to do. Cat tracker was added the day after this video & we’re just like we were in a house now. Next video explains it all 😀 it’s been a huge relief ! Xx

Nothing worse I've had it twice with my cat ino how you feel my cat was hidding in the engine of the van and a car in busy area. Bet you felt so much better when she came back. Is the tracker good I need get one.

She did it once as a kitten - jumped out of a second story window in the middle of the night!! That was scarier than this! I clearly needed to give her more credit. Cat tracker is unreal! Cannot recommend enough. Video next week all about it. She’s been a different cat since 🤍

I would track her, I think it's a good idea. Cats will eat where they get the best food, if she likes what she catches more than what you give her she might not come back to the van so easily. 😊

For a normal cat I would agree with you, but not Maine coons. She’s such a softie & I am the leader of the pack 😂 The tracker is phenomenal. She’s having the best time now she has full freedom. & always comes back to the van no matter where we are. She’s a clever girl.

I lose stuff in my van all the time….. it just takes a few minutes and then I find it 👍😎just keep looking…. i’m sure it’s in there. It’s not a very big place….. after all it’s a van

She’s lived near roads her whole life. She’s perfectly capable of running away from cars & danger. No need to worry. She’s absolutely loving life off the lead now 🤍
