In Kentucky, window glass is covered fully as it is considered a safety issue so I would double check on the coverage. Good tip on covering up items. I use a black blanket to cover everything when I am away from my van. The world is in a mess! Glad you are safe!

I’m also from Cincy. Can I suggest buying reflective window coverings and also when you purchase a car camera make sure it’s a 360 degree camera even when your car is shut off the camera will still pick up people, cars, motion..

I was wondering,...why don't you park in your cousin's driveway, or in their backyard? I think your vehicle would be safer and out of the way. You should also have safety windows put in. It makes it harder to break the glass to gain access to you and your belongings.

I hope you have comprehensive they will pay for it come to where your at and put it in. I forget the name of the service I've used it before they're really fast. You should have parked it where you was at so you could keep an eye on it and always take your valuables out. It looks like a decent area. Sorry for your losses.

I hate that happened to you.. i will say i don't understand why you left your valuables in your car particularly since your car was left unattended following repeated issues in the neighborhood and away from your line of sight and easy access.. neighbors having cameras make no difference the damage is done and the cops aren't looking for these thieves. We have to be wiser and cautious because "good" neighborhood or not crime doesn't stop and it isn't confined to "bad" areas.. people actual steal more from those doing better than them as they expect them to have quality items. Thankfully you are safe and are blessed to be able to replace that which was lost and repair your home on wheels!

It's tough lugging certain stuff in each place I go. But it's also tough losing. It wasnt right for someone to damage your vehicle. Some city/states don't allow you to live or sleep in your vehicle. So don't let them know that. I wouldn't have told the insurance company a window is something you can fix yourself and keep your insurance cost down. Always be stealth and don't infringe on people's space street or property when you are visiting
