Your teams design ideas and attention to detail are unmatched. Such a powerful and beautiful build. Congrats Outside!

i like the fact that the van has 3 ladders in case 2 of them break, you can still access the roof. i think its a bit underpowered, but otherwise its a really great design for people who to like to ride their bikes.

I find these builds interesting, as having owned 2 vans and endless adventures in trucks as well . What is the first thing You do when you come home from a ride or any activity ? I cant speak for others, the first in order for me is to take a shower. Over 90 percent of these builds have no shower or they put a hose out the back to rinse off. The option to rinse off in the back of the van is not in the design with the luxury of the rest of the build its more like an after thought . Other wise these builds are impressive. I carry a nice portable hot shower in my truck on adventures when others find out I have this shower they ask me if they can use it, happens every time.

We understand what you're saying. Our exterior shower connection offers hot or cold water. We don't advise building an enclosed interior shower on a 144 chassis. We do offer collapsable options for a 144!
@DayZeroFWD2 жыл бұрын
@@OutsideVan I agree w/ Mark, Taking a shower "inside" our van makes all the difference in the world. With the price these vans are going for these days and the extreme slow down in our economy, fuel prices; it is rare that most people can even afford to purchase one. Out on the road most people we meet are living full-time, getting sponsored/marketing to drive a manufacturers van, or have given up all other ties to suburban life. However, the majority of people who can afford to buy with with no questions asked, are in a financial position to buy what they want and an interior "enclosed" shower is NOT what they want. Not everyone is a 20 or 30 something professional vagabond or athlete willing to take a shower off the back of their vehicle. I would think more van builders would take these things into consideration. Unlike the Revel, many more are flocking to the Storyteller models with the interior "halo-shower".

@@DayZeroFWD I agree with Outside Van. I’m in my late 50’s and shower out of the back, no problem. A shower cubicle is a total waste of space, particularly in a 144WB van.

@@Couchlover47 We absolutely offer interior, closed, aluminum showers. We also offer shower pans with a collapsable shower curtain. Our vans are bespoke, designed how the customer would like. @@DayZeroFWD We offer an option to include a removable interior shower pan with a collapsable shower curtain and hose connection. This option is less costly than our fully enclosed aluminum interior shower. That bike rack system ! Where can I find it don’t see on website?
@OutsideVan Жыл бұрын
It's a combination of parts. The main racks are made by Lolo Racks, its their Bike Rack Carrier Hook. Then we built the mounting plates that attach the hooks to our utility ladders L-Track.

While being a good, quality build it is immensely underwhelming. The first half of the video is hammering on innovation, and prototypes etc, etc then they show nothing new, everything is already in other vans, the table they spent "so much time in R&D" has been available on 4x4 markets for years. Can carry 4 bikes... sorry only 2 seats.. wha?
@OutsideVan2 жыл бұрын
We appreciate you taking the time to watch our Van Spotlight. Our soft garage wall, soft overhead shelves, tool rolls, and rear Molle Panels are just a few of the R & D items highlighted in this build we're excited to roll out in the future.

ultimately it is a 3-pallet cargo van. something something "lipstick on a pig"
@FEARNoMore Жыл бұрын
As harsh as that may sound I totally agree with you. I use to follow Outside van years ago but stopped cuz so many other van companies seemed to have surpassed them in the realm of innovation. This van kind of exhibits that. Very minor improvements with seemingly the same layout. I mean the van itself is from 2 yrs old. I get it, it's a more basic build for bicyclists, outside sports enthusiasts. It would be something I would consider if it was not for the exurbanite price at least in comparison to other van builds which have a lot more innovations, choice in design, layout, amenities.
