Excellent tour thanks for sharing. 💪🤙👍 it's refreshing to see a van build on such a unique platform. This hiace is reminiscent of a bygone era, classic vw van, but still with it's own personality. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures and your van. 👍🤙💪🌟🏆

Nice job. Those 4x4 Hiace's are the best.
@pippaknuckleАй бұрын
Are they really 4WD though? Or are they just AWD ? No low range, no diff locks?
@waterbourne9282Ай бұрын
@@pippaknuckle Technically they are a Fulltime 4WD as they use the Aisin 340F (F designates 4WD) auto which from what I've read was also used in the Sequioa, Tundra, Tacoma, Hilux and Surf. But correct no low range or diff locks. I loved my one, planted, very competent and would tow anything, and a completely different animal to the insipid and get stuck anywhere 2WD petrols.

Looks very nice. There seems to be different Hiace versions. The Hiace here in europe seems all have a long front and others worldwide a blunt nose. Do you know if it is because of different engines? Or are they the same?

Thanks so much! We totally agree - you can actually fold down the middle seat & climb into the cabin. It's not necessarily as easy as walking through, but hopefully you wouldn't need to do it too often!
