For $5,500 and 70,000 miles you got a fabulous deal. Whwn you remove that wheelchair lift, you can resell it and recover some if your cost. What a blessing. Even a backup camera! And just remember, if you raise that roof, the higher profile vehicle, the more difficult to drive in windy conditions.

Yeah I'm happy with the van! I did try to sell the wheelchair lift for months but nobody bought it. I ended up donating it. And the roof is very secure now so it'll be ok. Thanks for watching!

Watching you go through your van reminds me of when I went through my van. The bench was uncomfortable to actually sleep on and underneath was nothing but bars, and a complete waste of space. You will find that space is key. Also, as close to a “home” as I can get is key. And COMFORT! My van is a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Van.

Vanessa. It's sassy. I'm proud of you... I loved my Chevy Astro van. I cried when she died. It was a good death, almost 300k miles and she survived 8 boys, with minimal damage. :D

I noticed the driver and passenger seats are reversed, the tilt handle is on the outside instead of the inside of the van. More simply the left hand seat(passenger) is on the right(driver) in case you didn’t notice it

Can I ask where to stay in a car in the summer time to beat the heat?

Good question. I was in Louisiana when it started to get hot and it was miserable. I didn't quite figure out how to stay super cool, but a few tips helps take the edge off: During the day try to park in underground parking lots (like the mall or some big name grocers), park under heavily shaded areas, let your car a/c run, purchase a small 12v fan and put it on your dash and crack windows to get ventilation. Also, you can sit in libraries or Starbucks (post covid lockdown). At night, drive and blast the a/c before you park to get it as cold as possible in the car. Sleep on cooler cotton sheets, and sleep with shorts and tank top (if possible). Also stay hydrated!! Hope those tips help!
