u should put a lazyboy in the back, and a futon next to the sink....and u should also install an electric smart refrigerator with an ice maker on the door....u can put a stand-in shower behind the driver seat, and install a 60 gallon water tank with a heater on the roof to run the shower....yep, thats what i would do.

I don’t know what the UK is like I believed in a van for a year I’m one of the lucky ones I’ve blown an awful lot of money And I still have $11,000 in the bank I don’t know that it’s a good idea to live on the road without at least $10,000 you need money to cover emergencies Living in this manner I am able to save $1000 a month at least I would’ve had close to $15,000 if I didn’t look after other homeless people I could stay out here another five months and have $17,000 saved But I’m folding at $10,000 After a year I’ve pretty much had enough It’s not fun anymore Even as a loner Even as a decorated combat veteran It gets so lonely it doesn’t feel lonely And then You’re naturally capable of disassociation from human closeness I’ve been out here long enough To form the belief One gender humanize the other As irritating as women have been, can be and will be? It becomes difficult to know who you are without one You become cold and hard And you smile a lot less My heart goes out to those who have no choice but to stay on the road... I’ll never forget the people I met out here Once I am comfortably happy in my apartment My heart will still ache As Most homeless people are lost and depending on tomorrow to make today better It’s heartbreaking

I've watched a lot of these van conversions on KZbin. In my opinion I think yours is the best. You've taken the shorter wheelbase Dodge Ram but with the layout and colors you have chosen, it seems very roomy inside. Most van builds have the permanent bed but I love the extra living space you have opted for. I also love the neatness and organization!
@ChristianSchaffer5 жыл бұрын
kellyB Thanks Kelly, really appreciate the thoughtful comment 🙏🏻 I do love it! I debated having the fixed bed but desk space was really important to me and after living in an suv for so long, I didn’t need too much storage space. It's nice to have this option. I had a Class C for 25 years and mostly was just for a few weeks a year vacations. Now I'm retiring and thinking of doing the high top van for easy maneuvering and stealth camping. I may have waited too long, getting older it's a lot of work hauling water and going to gyms to shower often.
@avneetkainth98165 жыл бұрын
It’s a great build you have everything in there apart from a shower but I suppose you use the gym for that. Good luck safe travels.
@ChristianSchaffer5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I use the gym. I did think about adding a shower, but between the shower itself and the extra water tanks, I would have lost a lot of storage space

I've seen so many van build, and I keep coming back to this van design. This is by far the best!
@cjmacq-vg8um5 жыл бұрын
well, it all seems rather wonderful but there's still a few questions. like: how do you receive your vehicle registration and driver's license renewal notices? if you're out of state how do you pay and renew them? what was the original cost of the van and the renovations? and what kind of gas mileage does the van get? and who do you sell your photographs to? i'm a self taught freelance photographer and videographer and, personally i'd like to live like that instead of stuck in my ole stuffy, stationary apt. I would just grab my still and video cameras and drive up down each coast throughout the year, head to a few wild-life preserves and just have a grand old time. but i'm afraid I can't afford the van and I ALWAYS had trouble finding buyers for my work. right now, I have a backlog of hundreds of photos, really good ones too, and have no idea where or how to sell them.
@teslatruck66975 жыл бұрын
Because this is some bullshit KZbin creator wanting us to believe it. She's clearly with someone doing all the videos and drone shots. I don't believe most of these girls on KZbin living "solo".
@felobazo245 жыл бұрын
Maybe try Shutterstock, Twenty20, and those sorts of webpages for stock images. Anyways, I'll be honest and tell you that even that your photos and work may be good, that is a really tough environment to prosper on. I'm also a self taught freelance photographer and have received all my pay from events rather than selling my photos online.
@cjmacq-vg8um5 жыл бұрын
@@teslatruck6697 … this is the only video like this I've seen. are there others? there are entire homeless families living out of their cars now. this seems like a great solution to the homeless problem. it can't be as simple as they make it out to be. why isn't half the country doing this? it sounds better than living in some cramped, stuffy one bedroom or studio apt. damn. i'd do it if I could. there must be a catch.
@cjmacq-vg8um5 жыл бұрын
@@felobazo24 … thanks for the info. but I've given up my photographic pursuits. i've resigned myself to political and economic philosophy. I've dedicated my life to making a better world rather than photographing it. and no, there's no money in this either but its TRULY intellectually and ethically gratifying. but I still partake in the joys of photographic self expression on occasion.
