Van Tour! We bought a 1983 VW Autovilla! Did we make a mistake?

I swopped a car for the exact same model autovilla camper... Very impressed with what yours look like... Mine on the other hand needs alot of tlc... Wish me luck with my renovation journey...

Thank you! We were lucky that the previous owner was a real car lover so looked after it very well. Absolutely wishing you good luck. Biggest problem I find is getting spares locally. I am sure it will be a labour of love. Share some pics with us!!

Oh wow that is amazing! That must be hard work? We were lucky that ours was in pretty good shape. You definitely need to send us pics of the before and after. If our experience is anything to go by, you are going to have some great adventures!!

You're not entirely correct here. As so many smart SAfricans did before, they've swapped out the anemic VW engine for a beefy Ford Kent 3l V6 motor. Just wonder where they put the radiator ...

You do realise above the cab weather speakers in the little cat cabinet is if you move then you can put a double mattress of their and you can also put a single bed across the front seat so there you go you can sleep sleep 5 people for adults and one child across the front seats
