Distributor went out on my 81. Hard for me to believe that my westy has turned into a paper weight now. Everyone laughs when I said I'm looking for one with the vaccum advance. Have you heard anything regarding the Chinese knock offs that pentronix make?

You can get the part to rebuild the distributor from Ken at Vanagain.com. I would go with original set up unless you are changing the whole ignition system.
