Hey Bob and Hillary! Thanks for stopping by our stand to check out our adventure vans! It was genuinely awesome to meet you both. The Tampa show is huge and it takes a lot of effort to review as many class Bs as you did, plus put together such a great video. Thank you for including Remote Vans, we really appreciate all the work it takes to create these videos.

Hi! It was great meeting the team at the show! Quality people and quality Vans! Thanks for the opportunity to showcase your Vans. We really loved how all 3 were set up a little different to show everything you can do in all 3 vans.

Great video 👍 Everyone here at the factory (Remote Vans) appreciates the opportunity to showcase our vans, and your honest review, so a big thank you. We’re proud our vans are being recognized for their quality 🙌 - innovative features, technology, while coming in $10k-$20k below our competitors. We’ll keep pushing the boundaries to build better vans for our community. Hopefully have you guys at our factory for a visit some day🙏🙏

I asked George from Humble road years ago on his channel, what he thought of the recirculating/recycling water system. He said he did NOT like it cuz of how fast the gunk accumulates in the filters. He said for him, it wasn't worth it, too much maintenance.
@MrSpaceace19997 күн бұрын
He might have too much gunk on his junk 😅 but yes all these bs things are a lot of waste of money . Fill your water tank when you need it a shower … I’ll wait for the hait ashbury

That shower is a stretch. You’d be much better off with an outside unit, maybe with an expandable shower enclosure mounted on the van. That’s what I’ve got on my truck. Works great.
@Rjhaack7 күн бұрын
The fire suppression for the Chinook was awesome. More manufacturers should do that. Not a bad model and I like that they made it so that the lower half of the bed could be left open to make getting out of bed easier. The kitchen prep area is too small though.

I enjoy how you try to validate the prices by showing us the details that we typically can’t see, like the upgraded suspension and that cover plate on the Mercedes. Those do add to the price, but usually is not on people’s minds when they shop for a van conversion. Thank you for these details.

I’m not a van/class B person , although I’ve had a custom van with several options in the past. We need a bit more room. But I love the way you present these vehicles . Very down to earth. Even though we have owned 9 different class A and Class C motorhomes over 40 years, we enjoy learning about these vans from your channel. Thank you

Hmm remote vans look very high quality with great accessories! Really like how flush the AC is to the ceiling . Not a fan of the small slide out fridge. I do. Ok Chinook love that fridge and the wheels. Next …

Really nice vans out there … I’ve got a used 17 Travato and I have to say .. most of the newer models , including the Travato have the controls above the side door. Mine are at the head of my bed … this is def down to preference, but I’ve had to use my controls a lot particularly for heat since I’m also here in Florida and was at the show … it was cold at night, having that control at my fingertips at night was nice , not having to get up and go fuss with it def more convenient. This is a small matter but sometimes the small things matter .

I know Bob has had a “love affair” with the Storyteller Overland. The Remote Vans looks like a copy of the STO. In Remote Vans (RV) favor, the Starlink and the air conditioner seem to be an upgrade. The shower and seat seem to be a copy of the STO. But I’d love to hear your opinion, since you saw it in person. I think the STO shower is better, because the curtain rolls up into the cabinet and you have the lower space available for storage. After watching countless rig reviews, I think it is impossible to show fit, finish and quality in a video format. It is really something the reviewer needs to comment on. So I’ll ask, how do you compare the fit and finish of the RV vs. STO?
@valerietiffany34207 күн бұрын

For 189000 the fridays-where is the toilet and shower. Retired-need a toilet . Female with Tiny tanks. The bed looks like my Thor Tellaro for $99,999 and we have a wet shower with toilet and shower with 200 watt with lithium batteries and a gas run generator. We wouldn’t live long enough to pay for that $189000. Ive heard Mercedes more expensive to maintain and repair. Not my retirement vehicle

The novelty of adventure vans has not worn off yet, so prices still out of touch with the average consumer. On these, the fridge is way too small if boondocking, plus no room for customization. Many other custom builders out these that can give you exactly what you want at a price point you can hopefully afford. Still much better quality than production companies like Thor, Jayco, etc.
